Jamaica Pictures

This past July I had the opportunity, along with 10 other geology students, to do geophysical surveying and research at an archaeological site in Mandeville, Jamaica. The site, located at Marshall's Pen, is a slave village and surrounding area which was active from the late 18th through the mid-19th century. We concentrated our efforts on three major areas: the actual village, the graveyard, and the areas surrounding these. It was a lot of work, but I'm sure everyone agrees we had just as much fun!
