VeboCon is held once per year and is the only official gathering of VeggieBoards' members. This year we will be meeting at Cedar Point amusement park in Sandusky Ohio the weekend of August 13th-15th.

About the weekend...

Friday night is kind of a meet and greet. We'll meet somewhere TBD, go out to dinner, possibly go out afterward, and/or hang out at the hotel. Saturday morning we'll meet up and spend the day at Cedar Point. Sunday is kind of a wind-down day. Last year we spent the day at the park (actually spent most of the day trying to find the park) and said our goodbyes as people left throughout the day.

We hope you'll join us Friday afternoon/evening and stay through Sunday morning/afternoon/evening but it is in no way required. If you just want to join us for dinner or to go to Cedar Point that's fine too.

Also, please feel free to bring guests - wives or husbands (preferably your own), girlfriends (the bringing of boyfriends is discouraged and may be frowned upon by the Creator), children, friends, etc. If you are under 18 please be accompanied by an adult. If your guests are omni we would prefer that they eat vegetarian for the weekend or at the very least sneak away for their non-veg foodstuffs.

If we reach 15 adults and pay as a group at least 3 weeks in advance we will be eligible for a group rate of $32 per ticket.

Hotel Information

resorts.cedarpoint.com - These are the hotels that Cedar Point "recommends." They are not the only hotels in the immediate area and are definitely not the cheapest.

We would like for as many of us as possible to stay at the same hotel. Once we have decided where that will be we'll let you know.

Transportation

There are train and bus depots, as well as an airport, nearby. As long as you can make it to the general area we'll do our best to help arrange transportation from there.

More specific information will be added once it becomes available.
