Kurth & Taylor is(L-R): Lee Beverly, Nick Chetkovich, Wally Kurth, Pat McCormack, Christian Taylor, & Jim Bloodgood
Kurth & Taylor is a six-piece acoustic/ electric group featuring founding members Wally Kurth and Christian Taylor. They began as an acoustic duo in 1992 and then expanded in 1993 by adding bassist Lee Beverly, drummer Jim Bloodgood, keyboardist Nick Chetkovich(and guitarist Pat McCormack in 1996), redefining their sound into the 4-part harmony, country-rock that it is today. Later in 1993, while performing in the Los Angeles area, Kurth & Taylor were asked to join ABC's Emmy Award winning "General Hospital", on which Wally has been starring since 1992. As "Eddie Maine & The Idle Rich", Kurth & Taylor have performed their original songs in over 40 episodes for the 6 million daily viewers of "General Hospital", generating legions of fans throughout the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
