[Paula Goldberg]
Paula Goldberg

Paula Goldberg is the writer/director and co-producer of "Traveling Companion," a 20-minute, 35mm film which boasts 11 female characters on screen and behind the camera saw women in the role of director of photography, line producer, executive producer, post production supervisor, art director, script supervisor, camera assistant and sound mixer to name a few. The film had it's world premiere at the Newport Beach International Film Festival in March, winning the Executive Directors Award as pick of the festival. The film was self financed with the help of a tremendously supportive cast and crew, industry donations and community support. This is Paula's first film. She holds a M.F.A. in acting from Rutgers University. Acting credits include creating the role of "Maryann" off broadway at the Westbeth Theatre in Damian Gray's "The Florentine" which has recently been made into a feature film executive produced by Francis Ford Coopola. She has travelled regionally with the National Shakespeare Company and the Asolo Theatre of Sarasota, FL. Presently, she works for the first start up studio Hollywood has seen in 60 years, DreamWorks, SKG - working her way these last 3 years in public relations, creative development and currently assisting in the handling of feature animation contracts - gaining an invaluable education in both the creative and business sides of the industry.

Francesca Prada

Francesca Prada works as a freelance creative producer for broadcast & theatrical projects. Her experience ranges from big budget features & TV for studios to little budget commercials for multinational corporations. Where her heart is: producing one to two showcase films per year through her company: Diana Films. Her recent projects producing include: "Here Dies Another Day" starring Oscar nominee/Tony Award winner John Randolph & Directed by Caryn West; Producer on Alex Hai's "Tidal Passion;" Co-Producer on Shannon Kenny's "The Cooperative" based on the play by Slavomir Mrozek; Line Producer on Caroline Blair's "The Day I Shot President Kennedy;" many commercials a few music videos & luckily no tractor pulls. Her other professional adventures include work on: "Tales Of The City"-Locations; "Sister Act II”-Locations; "Jade"-Locations Coord.; "Crazy Love"-Production Coord.; "Murder In The First"-Locations; "My Home, My Prison"-Asst. Editor; "Nash Bridges”-A.P.C.; & "The Last Express"-Prod Supervisor. Her film directing credits include "Politically Correct"-honorable mention at the Columbus International Film Festival, Smoky Mountain Media Fest, Utah Film Festival & US Film Festival. Ms. Prada also directed "Faulkner's Bicycle" which screened for three weeks at the Working Women's Festival in San Francisco. She has also directed for theater among her favorite plays are: "Painting Churches" by Tina Howe; the Scottish play by Shakespeare & Mo Brownsey's one woman show "Girls, Girls, Girls" - a highly abridged history of women. She was a finalist in the AFI Hendler competition for screen writing for her original script Blue Tattoo. Her poetry has been published in several anthologies. She chairs the artistic board of Swan's Reach/Bay Circle, a multimedia organization working with at-risk youth in the Bay Area.
