Quentin
Tarantino was born in Knoxville, Tennessee on March, 27th 1963.
He moved to Los Angeles, California with his mother after his parents divorce. |
In 1980 he left school
and started attending an acting school.
From 1985 on, he started working in a video store where he met Roger Avary with whom he will write Pulp Fiction's screenplay. In 1990 he moved to Hollywood and he started working in a little film production company. |
Between 1991 and 1992
his third screenplay become his first movie as a director: Reservoir
Dogs. During this period he met Lawrence Bender and Harvey
Keitel.
In 1994 he won an Academy Award for the movie Pulp Fiction. His career as a director is at its best and he acts in many other directors' movies too. |
From 1997 he manages with Lawrence Bender a record company named "A Band Apart Records" which focuses on movies' soundtracks. |
