TRIVIA

The part of Jackie Brown was specifically written for Pam Grier. When
Tarantino first read the book Rum Punch on which the movie is based,
he missed that Jackie was described as a white girl; he just realized it
while he was writing the screenplay and reviewing the book.

The electronic voice on Jackie's answering machine is that of Quentin
Tarantino.

Mira Sorvino, actress who, at the time, was dating Tarantino, appears
out of focus, in the back of the courtroom at Jackie's arraignment.
