James Dean Is Not Dead: Book Reviews

If you reviewed the James Dean Bookstore page you no doubt noticed that there's quite a number of books about James Dean -- and that's an incomplete list of books you can purchase from online booksellers such as Amazon.Com and Barnes & Noble Online! Dean books are always being published and sold, their types ranging from simply scandalous to the well-researched biography. Many Dean fans are Dean book collectors, but how can a newbie who wants to learn about James Dean distinguish between a great Dean book and something torn from the pages of "The National Inquirer" or "Weekly World News"? Online booksellers don't always have reviews listed with the books they are pushing, and book jacket covers, while giving a glimpse of what's between the covers, don't exactly tell you what kind of content is within the covers and how (or IF in some cases) that information was obtained.

This page is an attempt to rectify the above problem. Hopefully this will become a space in which Dean fans can exchange their points of view about a particular Dean book: how well written, how honest or deceiving, etc. etc.

If you would like to share your POV with others about a Dean book listed here, or provide your opinion about a Dean book not currently listed on this page, please feel free to email me at idiot__savant@yahoo.com and I will include your credited review or comments on this page.
