"The Ship of Dreams"

"Titanic was called the ship of dreams, and it was, it really was..."
One look, one glance, said it all
days before the great ship took it's fall
two lovers united, against everything and everyone,
just to be together
To love someone so much is a rare occurrence
they flew together, they soared
They opened their hearts to eachother,
and the porcelain doll became what she always wanted to be
the great ship went down, butt their love remained
their hands, their eyes locked together forever
You jump., I jump
the headboard too small for two people,
but large enough for two hearts
And as he floated to the ocean floor
he took part of her with him
Though her heart will go on, he will always be a part of her
"Dawson, Rose Dawson", by saying this she proves that fact
Now eighty four years later, together again
Always, forever

Path of Hands

The hand of cards,
All right, all winning.
He won a ticket of a lifetime.
One look and he wanted
To be near her.
She won his hand;
Only his hand was offered
To convince her not to jump.

Once their hands first touched,
They started the path.
He came into her world
For a dinner,
And kissed her hand
Into her heart.
He took her into his world,
Circling around to the music.

Holding hands,
Making the path longer.
His hands freed her,
Soaring into the sunset.
She blossomed at the
Touch of his growing sketch.

She had her hand mark him
Even before they embraced.
Her hands completed his.
Her hands freed him
At a lucky strike of an axe.
She had a chance to survive
In the lifeboat,
But there was no path without him.
His hands were holding her tight
As they hit the water.

Upon the driftwood,
She kept her hand
Around his hand,
Until she had to let go.
She had to finish the path
On her own
But he was at the end.
Her hand made it back
Into his.

Titanic: The Love Story

Old Rose tells her tale of woe,
About the man with a heart of coal,
About the big ship, now in the sea it lays,
And about Jack Dawson, who saved her in every way.

Above him in first class, jewels sparkling bright,
Jack looks up at the calm starlight.
Rose is up there, sad and blue,
Who will save her, who? Will you?

She runs to the deck alone, not looking back,
Hangs from the ship, above the sea, black,
Jack looks behind her and says 'Don't jump',
Rose says 'Don't move', or she will be done.

Jack pulls her back and with tears in her eyes,
She looks back at him, who is he? A spy?
Rose's body trembles with fright,
When Cal comes along, her fiancé with rights.

Jack looks at Cal, then Rose again,
Looks at her face so pale and plain,
Looking as though she just had been slain.

Cal sits Rose in front of the mirror,
Right before the first class dinner.
He looks at her with love and emotion,
As he presents her The Heart of the Ocean.
A beautiful diamond necklace, so exquisite and bright,
Beautiful lights twinkle from side to side.
Rose sighs and thinks to herself,
Why can't Cal speak for himself?
The last thing she needs is another jewel,
From a man who is greedy, heartless and cruel.

Rose thinks back on such a fool she had been,
Killing herself, oh what a sin!
Now Rose and Jack, a secret they share,
Will they make a perfect pair?

Jack comes to dinner, first class tonight,
He dresses so smartly, so fine and bright.
The shining star in the first class room,
Honored from saving the lady from doom.

Jack slipped Rose a note while the people talk,
The note said 'Make it count, meet me at the clock',
On board the doomed ship, Jack and Rose meet,
Dancing and Laughing until they were beat.
The two fall in love, at sea, not on land,
And nothing on earth could come between them.

Who knew that his life would soon be gone?
Who knew that her heart would still go on?
The iceberg hits, the ship starts to sink,
Rose tries to save Jack, who is trapped in a wing.
Cal escapes in a boat, a little girl in hand,
Hoping to make it safely to land.

The Titanic splits, sending people into the sea,
Rose and Jack try their best to flee.
Rose climbs onto a broken door,
Staring at the sky with stars galore.
Floating in the water, Jack touches her hand,
He tries to stay alive, once again.

People are freezing, scared and frantic,
Over the death of the famous Titanic.
Jack says to Rose, 'You have to survive,
I don't know how, but Rose, don't die'.
Rose agrees with all her heart,
And says 'Jack, I'll never give up'.

Minutes have passed, the place is silent,
Nothing's in sight, not even an island.
The people are dead, frozen to death,
Rose still lives on, holding her breath.

Soon, she hears a sailor's voice,
Looking for survivors, without a single noise.
Rose turns around, 'Jack, there's a boat',
Jack doesn't speak, but stays afloat.
Tears well up in Rose's sad eyes, thinking,
Why didn't Jack hear her cries?

She breathes on his hands, hard and cold,
Keeping a promise that she wouldn't let go.
She blows a whistle, the sailor turns around,
He pulls her onto his boat, all safe and sound.
Rose is wrapped in a blanket, staring up high,
Thinking of Jack and her will to survive.

Old Rose stops her story, heart broken and all,
Everyone stares at her, touched and in awe.
She lays on her bed, dies in her sleep,
All alone when her heart missed that last beat.

In a flash, the Titanic lives again,
It must be Heaven, where things never end!
Rose walks to the stairways, young once more,
Surrounded by people as she entered the door.

On top of the stairs, stood a third class man,
It was Jack Dawson, who took Rose's hand.
The people cheer, the china gleams,
For the two were reunited on the ship of dreams.

Jack and Rose

Floating on the water
She stared at the same stars
He once looked upon from the deck
And she has the chance
To keep her promise
To him; to them.
Riding the roller coaster, to riding a horse
The "real way".
He stays with her always
Long before she moved
His frozen hand from hers
And let him sink into the sea.
She did go on.

The Clock

The neatly folded
Piece tucked into
Her hand
Spoke of "making it count".
Heading to that clock
Made all the difference;
A clock as powerful for Cinderella.
He knew that she would come,
Turning around with that smile.
On that staircase
Where he first
Kissed her hand,
Then to fleeing together.
Her promise kept when made.
That winning ticket that
Brought him to her.
That same clock
Reunited them.

I Was Thinking Of You

The times fly past,
Gone too soon,
But who would believe,
I was thinking of you?

Before you soul left,
Gone too soon,
Would you believe I was thinking of you?

Near, far, wherever you are,
Don't forget I am thinking of you.
Before the ship sank,
Under fire works so new,
Please believe me,
I was thinking of you.

Now that you're gone,
My heart still goes on,
But still I think of you.

Wherever I am,
At sea or on land,
I am thinking of you.

The times we had,
And the memories shared,
Were all gone too soon.
But who would believe,
That even in my dreams,
I was thinking of you?

Stars

Stars in the sky,
Shining way up high,
I couldn't help but think back in time.

The ocean so blue, as majestic as can be,
Why couldn't I set myself free?
I stared out to the horizon, I faced the sea,
I could feel the freedom waiting out there for me.

But how could I go get it? How could I be strong?
How? Unless someone made my heart go on and on.
I waited for you, I realized I did,
I didn't even know what made me do it.

We wished on one star,
So calm and bright,
Yet it shines throughout the painful night.
You wished that I would never give up,
And I wished that I would stay in your heart.

As I stare up at the stars now, I remember.
I remembered the sacrifice, I remembered you above,
I remembered the desperation, and I remembered the love.

So near, far, wherever you are,
I will always remember that one, bright star.
Jem
