Marlena is rushing to get ready for Lexies's baby shower
and she can't seem to find her shawl... She goes
to the closet and as she is looking she finds a faded
box of memories in the corner.
She kneels down to see what is inside, as she slowly opens
the box her heart is pounding.
Inside she finds all of her and John's "momentoes"
from their past.
There is the picture of them from "Titan" party
some of them with the children and lots of ticket stubs
from plays and things and even an ole love letter
All are "treasured" memories for Marlena.
She is about to put the lid back when she sees
that one of the pictures had fallen from the box.
She picks it up and the memories it brings back~~~~~~~~
The picture is the one that was taken at the Valentines
Dance when John thought he was Roman and they were
beginning to feel the "special love" between
them---- as she reflects on this she remembers~~~~~~~~~
"Doc" are you ready-- Roman asks.
"Now Roman, be patient, good things are worth waiting
for."
Roman is pacing the floor, I can't stand this tux he admits
to himself, but this is a "special occasion", I guess I'll
deal with it...
Marlena descends the steps in a lovely off the shoulder
gown, Roman's mouth drops and he says "You are worth waiting
for, Doc"
This is there first date since he told her how much
he loves her.
He opens the door to the limo and she sees the
roses, Oh Roman how sweet, she kisses his cheek.
As they arrive at Blondies, they are greeted by
several of their friends, he takes her in his arms
and tells her " I am the luckiest man here."
Julie approaches she an Marlena are talking
"girl talk" when the band begins to play,
Roman asks Marlena to dance.
She goes to him, how good his arms feel around
her, she loves him so, as the music plays he kisses
her ear, she laughs and tells him in a soft voice
"later"~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
