The Claudius and the Clodhopper
Following Lewis Carroll's " The Walrus & the Carpenter"

The Claudius and the Clodhopper
Moved on to become foes
And even though they never dueled
Disney found cause to show
That all the while dumb Esme chose
The moronic of the duo

"The time has come" Claudius said,
Along with prior things:
Of noose,culprits and torture racks
of savages--gypsies
And why his blood is boiling hot
And wheth'r they shall have flings

The Claudius and the Clodhopper
were ogling close at hand
They both tried hard unceasingly
For the bimbo in demand
And this was scarcely odd because:
She was buxomly grand

"Such a pity" the Claudius said,
From high upon his horse
Although it seemed for simpletons
He had little remorse
Because Clodhopper disobeyed
He'd have to die, of course!

But Esme incognito was
a begger with a hump
And like a primate with a stone
hit Snowball on the rump
And this in turn let CH off
landing Claudius with a thump!

The moon was shining on the Seine
Two men in silhouette,
Were followed by a personage
The Claudius (they abet)
Once in the Court of Miracles,
He had them in his 'net'!

The Claudius and the Clodhopper
Were standing eye to eye
His Grace proposed a remedy
While Clodhopper stood awry
And this he knew of what was said:
Claudius would not belie

And low, the dawn was dull and dim
A whispery gray moon
Clodhopper attempting to escape
Shook the bars like a baboon
But as the Claudius read aloud:
He knew his time was soon

Not caring for how Esme fared
He launched a brawl instead
A rush of sheer testosterone
Had surged up to his head
And while he beat his chest and fought
She was mistook for dead

But Claudius on the other hand
Had business to attend
To reach his "Quasi" pseudo son
They stairs he did ascend
Attempting murder in the first,
Thus "sufferings" would "end."
