Here's the rundown. Just familiarize yourself
with these people for the stories and you'll be all right. Unless
you've seen all science fiction shows mentioned (like myself) in which
case you will have no problem.
-Dino-Bot is a Maximal Transformer. He is obsessed with honor and loyalty, yet despises fools. He is able to transform into a sinister Velociraptor and is a warrior of incredible strength and skill. He holds the rank of Security. Check him out on ‘Beasties/Beast Wars'.
-Londo was originally given the name of Lando by Dino-Bot, but he had his name changed back. Dino-Bot loved to pester Londo as a test of honor and Londo proved himself more than capable of being honorable. Although he doesn't like to fight much, he can hold up in a brawl. He holds the rank of Sensor officer. Check him out on ‘Babylon 5'.
-Starbuck felt that he should have been assigned to BattleStar Galactica, not the Babylon Dwarf. Because he is self obsessed, coming on such a low-grade ship was crushing to his ego. He now spends his time whining, smoking his cigars, and watching videos with various voluptuous women. He holds the rank of screwdriver operator and that gives him something else to whine about. Watch him on ‘BattleStar Galactica'.
-Worf actually enjoys his position on the Babylon Dwarf and holds the rank of Tactical Supervisor. He is also obsessed with honor and loyalty, which makes him a perfect pal for Dino-Bot. Although he gets to battle many foes through the ships weapons, he enjoys hand to hand combat more, and owns a bat-leth, which is a curved blade. He is rather confused about the lack of captain on board, so tends to think of the ship as non-military. Watch him on ‘Star Trek: The Next Generation' and ‘Star Trek: DS9'.
-Tarantulas was one of Dino-Bot's enemies and they battled often. Tarantulas is a back stabbing psychopath who eat rats all the time. In his beast form, a tarantula, he is often found scouring the ship looking for a meal or just trying to scare people. He laughs maniacally all the time, is known for his mega-missiles, and he spends most of his time being repaired or in The Lair, his hideout. He holds the rank of Hacker. See him on ‘Beasties/Beast Wars'.
-The Governor is an intelligent cat from a parallel universe where cats rule the Earth. His real name is Fluffy, but his title is the Governor because he was the governor of his province. Although the Governor does not like to work, his duties on board can not be denied, so he goes straight to his post at Operations and goes to sleep there. He has formed a close friendship with the Cat, but the two often argue on whom is better looking. You can't watch him, because I made him up.
-HAL used to be the computer on board the Discovery, but somehow came to this ship when the Discovery was destroyed due to Jupiter becoming a star. He was quite mad due to a programming error, but was later repaired. He is only a red eye placed through out the ship on every deck. See him in ‘Space Odyssey: 2001' and ‘2010'.
-The Cat is a Felis Sapiens, basically a highly evolved cat. He once operated sensors, but gave that up to pursue another career: being a barber. His number one customer is himself and he often leaves his other customers waiting while he grooms himself. He has become good friends with the Governor and, regardless of their arguing, they watch ‘Cats: The Beautiful Creatures' together. He enjoys making himself a nuisance on the bridge and takes great delight in teasing Starbuck. Watch him on ‘Red Dwarf'.
-The holographic doctor served aboard the USS Voyager until his back-up emitter was stolen by an alien race. He spent many years on that planet being a doctor, but finally left to search for Voyager and to see if they got home. He encountered the Babylon Dwarf and seeing that no one had brains enough to be a doctor, he took the role himself. Not much can be said about him, but he does enjoy patronizing his patients and he doesn't like Dino-Bot. See him on ‘Star Trek: Voyager'.
-C-3PO is a protocol droid who mysterious transported to this strange ship. Many things are alike between this universe and the one where he came from. For instance, no one listens to him here either. He often finds he has to trail after people saying the same thing over until someone acknowledges his existence. He has Chewbacca to keep him company and enjoys talking to Data and Kryten (when they listen to him). Watch him in the ‘Star Wars' Trilogies.
-Data is a friend and ship-mate of Worf's and they often discuss on how to get home. Data is an android, and is somewhat relieved that he is not the only one on this ship. He usually confers with Kryten and C-3PO about theories and ship wide functions. Data also operates sensors and he is often found exploring the Babylon Dwarf when off duty. He is always reliable and is never picked on by Dino-Bot. See him on ‘Star Trek: The Next Generation'.
-Robby the Robot has a better name than Robot and knows it. He doesn't care though, because the two are best friends. It also appears they had the same special effects designer, due to their similar appearance. He is not annoying, which is a trait that is hard to find on board, and because of this people really like him. He spends his time in Engineering and is just one of the engineers. Watch him in ‘Forbidden Planet'.
-Scotty is the ship's engineer and hates every moment of it. The engines on board have been slapped together so poorly that when a screw comes loose, the entire ship is on the verge of structural collapse. This causes Scotty to be engulfed in the engines, aided only by the engineering robots. He doesn't enjoy the company, but loves the new adventure. Watch him in ‘Star Trek'.
-Darth Vader is a Dark Jedi, but mysteriously enough, the Force does not work in this universe. His light saber would be intimidating, but unfortunately, he doesn't have it with him; he left it in his other pants. Without the Force or a light saber, Darth Vader stalks the corridors angrily and is often found on a deck completely made for him, because his breathing kept his neighbors awake. Check him out in the ‘Star Wars' trilogy.
-Chewbacca is a Wookie and gets hair into everything. That's okay, because he is the janitor. The crew find this particularly funny and Dino-Bot tends to tease him about it. Chewie likes most crew members and respects Dino-Bot. Although he is rarely seen, he is a powerful ally and holds up well in a fight. He gets along well with C-3PO, but that is because they already knew each other before coming here. See him in the ‘Star Wars' trilogy.
-The giant cougar is an interesting ally, and a confusing one. She seems to survive just fine in outer space and eats the villains Dino-Bot throws out the airlock. The cougar is abnormally large, about the size of a lion, and is often found outside the ship. She does come in once in a while to play canasta with Dino-Bot and Worf.
-Kryten is a sanitation droid who is overcome completely by guilt and finds himself stuttering when he talks to most people. Most people just pass him by and ignore him, but there are individuals who will stop, smile, and comment about his head. He tries to do things right, but often finds himself getting into trouble...especially when Tarantulas is involved. Watch him on ‘Red Dwarf'.
-Retro 70's Actor Man is a relatively new character and is Dino-Bot's new play toy. Dino-Bot enjoys picking on him because Retro 70's Actor Man truly believes he is evil. Although he issues death threats and brandishes a dangerous knife, he never acts on his threats and sulks about it. He always wears tights and this causes the rest of the crew to avoid him. He is actually an actor and played Emperor Xur on ‘The Last Starfighter'. The casting directors of the film chose him because he played the part so well. He actually wasn't acting. He really was insane. See him play Emperor Xur on ‘The Last Starfighter.'
-Robot has the stupidest name on board and knows it. However, he does not care. He used to serve with the Robinson family, but their adventures became too corny and Robot found himself here. No one knows quite what to call him, and he is often seen in engineering with Scotty, who calls him ‘Robot from "Lost in Space" '. The Robot doesn't understand, but doesn't bother asking. He only has one problem; sometimes he bursts into a room shouting "DANGER WILL ROBINSON! DANGER!!" No one knows why. Watch him on ‘Lost in Space'.
-Twiki is barely seen by the crew because he was accidentally locked in a storage cabinet for 12 weeks. When he got out though, he joined the robots and Scotty in Engineering and has proved himself competent. He has offered valuable advice that has saved the crew from certain death. Although he likes Jazz, he plays in the Cat's rock band ‘I'm Better Than You' as the keyboarder. He is just a simple engineer and is rarely found outside Engineering. See him in ‘Buck Rogers'.
-The Magic Bag Monster was given to Londo by Captain Sheridan, but at the time was just an ordinary Magic Bag. Londo constantly used it to soothe his neck pains, but Dino-Bot did not really like it. The Magic Bag was thrown into the trash by Dino-Bot, but rejected DNA from a test in Sickbay bonded with it, and the Magic Bag now has the ability to transform into an unstoppable beast when Londo is in danger.
-Janice is a normal teenager who talks all the time. She hates it here and she hates Dino-Bot. She has a lot of friends and they gossip all the time. That is about it.
-K is a representative from the Men In Black and joined the ship to hunt down the Killer Tomatoes. He enjoys big guns, and joins in everyone's conversations. He can be considered annoying, but Dino-Bot doesn't think so. He doesn't like Tarantulas and Tarantulas doesn't like him. Whenever they meet in the corridor, Tarantulas tries to eat him. Worf insists upon keeping K's quarter location a secret, given Tarantulas' hacking skills. Watch him on ‘Men In Black'.
-The Doctor is a Time Lord from Gallifrey, and is a friend to most who meet him. He does tend to cause confusion upon his visits though, because of his ability to regenerate. Regeneration happens upon the point of death when the Time Lord body changes and instantly heals itself. This causes the Doctor to look different each time. The Doctor only visits rarely, piloting his barely functioning TARDIS, but when he does, trouble follows. Apparently, the Doctor and Dino-Bot are good friends, but no one ever recalls them meeting previously. Watch him on ‘Doctor Who'.
-The Toilet-Duckian's are the arch-enemies of the Vimians and have one goal in mind: to have everyone in the universe use Toilet Duck as a bathroom cleaner. They have been seen every week for two months replacing the Babylon Dwarf's Vim with Toilet Duck. They are not villains, but are now powerful allies sworn to defend the Babylon Dwarf from the Vimians.
-The Vimians are the arch-enemies of the Toilet-Duckians and have one goal in mind: to have everyone in the universe use Vim as a bathroom cleaner. They have been seen every other week for two months replacing the Babylon Dwarf's Toilet Duck with Vim. They are not villains, but are not quite allies either.
-Rats are everywhere and this ship is no exception. They infest the cargo decks and often stumble into traps Tarantulas has set. Tarantulas is their prime enemy because he obviously enjoys their taste so very very much. Not much is known about the rats, but it is rumored that they hold a weekly Black Jack game in the Dining Room at midnight on Fridays. |
