Mark Wahlberg is released from prison and tags along on the job with old friend Joaquin Phoenix, the leg man for Wahlberg's uncle's subway car repair business, who throws dirty money at him to keep him interested. However, after a deal goes bad, Wahlberg is the prime suspect in the murder of one man and the beating of another, and has to go up against his uncle's business to get his name clear. The movie tries to be a very noirish film, and does alright, but never really found much to pull me into the story. The story is mildly intriguing but fairly generic and the acting is decent but not really inspired. There were times were the movie began to get me interested in the characters because several of them were so likable, but it was never able to really hold my interest more than a few minutes at a time.

Based on Ian Fleming's novel of the same name. Agent 007 travels to Japan to investigate the disappearance of U.S. and Russian space capsules. Although this is considered by many to be one of the less successful Bond films, I still find it thoroughly entertaining. The action scenes are good, Sean Connery is in top form, and the Japanese backdrop adds a unique flavor that sets this film apart from the other entries in the series. The production design is great too; Blofeld's lair is one of the more elaborate sets in James Bond history.

A man and woman fall in love over the internet without realizing they know and hate each other in real life. The movie is very cute, and is a good date film. The acting and story were good, although I think the woman should have figured out who the man was a little sooner. Other than that, a good movie.
