I am no longer updating this page. I haven't done so since April 2002 anyways!  As a university athlete, student with a job and a position writing for the paper, I just don't have the energy.  Frankly, I don't have the interest either  (maybe I've grown up!?).  Check out
Oilfans.com for some more interesting Oilers news and debate. :)
Good luck to Eric and the Oilers...

'Tis a sad day in Edmonton.  Many of us have only come out of mourning today - mourning the exclusion of the Oilers from the playoffs.  Highlights from the year: 92 points this season (highest total for a non-playoff team), 182 goals against (team record - even vs. 48 game season - 2nd in league), the emergence of Mike Comrie, and an exciting Olympics for many Oilers players.  But this page is about Eric Brewer, a fine player in his own respect.  One who will, one day, lead a team to the Stanley Cup.  Congrats Eric, and the Edmonton Oilers on a fine season.  Good luck to the players who will be attending the World Championships which include Eric, Mike Comrie, Anson Carter and Jason Smith for Canada.  This offseason, I will be starting to make a new page. Having been, perhaps, the first Brewer page on the web, I see many other (better) pages out there. I want to try some new waters in the form of another Oilers player
: Marty Reasoner. Don't worry, I'll try to keep this page around regardless. ~Foxy

Olympic Gold.  Wow. I know that was a few weeks back, but it still tastes sweet. Congrats Brewer. Oh, by the way, nothing has changed on this page recently. I've got a growing fear that the OIlers will not make the playoffs this year... But I can still hope! ~Beast

Man am I ever a slacker.  The Oilers are now into their Olympic break, and that means that Eric is off to Salt Lake City.  Maybe with a gold medal around his neck, he (and Smyth) can get these Oilers back on track when they return. Best of luck in SLC. ~Erin

Happy Boxing Day!  An especially happy one with a winning goal (and player of the game) for Eric Brewer. I'm in BC for the next few weeks, so there won't be any updates! Sorry!  Best of the season to you all...

*Note* I am not affiliated in any way with Mr. Brewer, his family, his agent or his team. I don't have his email address or  phone number and have no intention on trying to get it.  I have never met him, I probably will never meet him. So, YES if you think you are a bigger fan then I, you probably are. This is just a silly little fan page. Copyright 2001 by Erin
