Stacy's story
I have always been interested in Titanic...I remember taking books out of the library about it in elementary school, and watching the Danielle Steel movie on TV where the heroine was aboard the ship. But I really wasn't *obsessed* with it until I heard the Broadway musical. It is one of my all-time favourite musicals, and the story touched me so much more than I ever thought possible. I had to see the movie when it came out,
if only for that reason. But what I saw exceeded anything I could have expected. It was simply amazing!! I have seen it three times now, and hope to have the chance to go again soon. It is simply a magical story, one that is grand yet intimate, and inspires even as it saddens.
Sam's story
When I went to see Titanic, I knew it would be good. At least, that's what everyone told me, so I just assumed they knew. I was expecting something that might possibly rival, say, Speed. I mean, hey. That was a good movie, okay? And I thought this was basically supposed to be an action movie. But now I have seen the light! I realize what a masterpiece this is. It's better than any movie I've seen, period. That includes classics like Gone With the Wind, that includes Dead Poets Society, that even includes Dumb and Dumber (yeah, that really took a whole lot. :-)! THIS MOVIE ROCKS THE WORLD!
Melissa's story:
Hi. My name is.. umm.. what did you say my name was? Oh, right. Melissa. Anyway, I went to see Titanic my first time, and I don't know what happened, but I went a second time. And a third. And a fourth. Then I realized I had an obsession.I couldn't control the cravings anymore. I JUST HAD TO SEE IT AGAIN AND AGAIN! I stopped eating out, because for the price of a Pizza Hut pizza, I could go see Titanic twice. I stopped buying groceries because it saved money. I LOWERED MYSELF TO EATING IN THE CAFETERIA AT COLLEGE FIVE DAYS A WEEK! I just can't seem to stop going (to Titanic that is :-).
Melanie's story:
Hi. My name is Melanie. I am a Titanaholic, and I am proud of it. I went to see Titanic 13 times in the theatre. I want to go again. I love this movie so much I spent THIRTY-FIVE BUCKS on a book that had NO PICTURES OF LEONARDO IN IT. I repeat, I am a Titanicaholic, not a Leoholic. :-) Must... have... Titanic....
