BCSL Sports League--It was made official this past week that Queen of Peace High School, long time rival of Westwood and holders of one of the most impressive loss-loss records in all of high school tennis, has decided not to compete in the 1999 BCSL American tennis season. The decision was reached after finding out that, after an immense advertising campaign, the position of "coach" could not be filled. This was very unprecedented because in past years Q of P has had some of the most professional and experienced coaches that the BCSL league has ever seen. Coaches that coached for the love of the sport, that always called the balls down the line and never, never would even think of cheating another team out of a point. This has come to a great shock to all of the staff here at the Unofficial Westwood High School webpage, and we would like to wish the FORMER Q of P tennis players the best of luck in all of their future endeavors.
We're back! Finally, after months of dormancy... one of the hottest sites on the web is once again open for the public's viewing pleasure! The Unofficial Westwood High School Boys Tennis Homepage! But wait, you ask! The name has changed! That's right, we are now "unofficial". After an attempted (and I do stress attempted) shut-down by Queen of Peace High School, we are now up and running stronger than ever, overcoming their feeble atempts and rising to the occasion! I promise you that 1999 is going to be a revolutionary year for this web page. It will be a year filled with ATTITUDE, and use of the First Ammendment! So, rival teams beware, cuz you are in to feel the "WRATH OF WESTWOOD!!!!"
