Los Angeles County Fire Department

LACoFD is probably best know as the home of Squad 51 from the Emergency! TV series.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department provides fire protection and emergency medical services for 51 cities and the unincorporated areas, which includes a population over 3 million and 2,200 square miles. There are over 3,500 employees located at 157 facilities. The Los Angeles County Fire Department also acts as a backup to all cities in the county. Providing additional responses, specialized equipment, and air support.
