	NAME: Lion-o (Larry Kenney) Lion-O is the Lord of the Thundercats. He has proven himself to be a worthy leader, though sometimes he can be a little stubborn. He is the one Thundercat whom most villians, on third earth, fear. Lion-O has come to rely on the Sword of Omens, the claw shield, and his friends to help him through difficult tasks.
	NAME: Tygra (Peter Newman) Tygra is the architect of the bunch. He made the designs for Cats Lair. Also, Tygra is known for his knowledge in chemistry and, once, used his ability of telepathy. His main weapon is his bolo whip, which enables him to dematerialize.
	NAME: Panthro (Earl Hyman) Panthro is the mechanic and engineer of the Thundercats. He was the one who built the thundertank, thunderstrike, etc. Panthro is a martial arts master, but by far it is his strength and special nunchucks that makes him a worthy adversary.
	NAME: Cheetara (Lynne Lipton) Cheetara is the speed demon of third earth. Her speed and her special bo-staff make her almost unstoppable. Her one weakness is endurance. She cannot keep her lightning speed up for a very long time. Also, Cheetara is clairvoyant. She can use this ability to see future events and things that happened in the past. A side effect to this great gift is the possibility of destroying herself because it drains her.
	NAME: WilyKat (Peter Newman) WilyKat and WilyKit are twins. Both of the twins are very cunning and both are older than Lion-O. He is the most curious of the two. He has pellets, that he throws, as weapons. These two Thundercats, unlike the others, find danger instead of danger finding them.
	NAME: WilyKit Both of the kittens are the weakest of the Thundercats. Like her brother, WlyKit also uses pellets to fend off enemies. One distinction between Kit and Kat is that she is able to ride her spaceboard better then him.
	Name: Snarf - Osbert (Robert McFadden) Snarf, on Thundera, was Lion-O's "nanny". He tends to forget, on third earth, that Lion-O is no longer a cub and can take care of himself. Also, Snarf has proven to be a part of the Thundercats. Though he is a worrier, Snarf can come through when no one else can.

Lynx-O, Pumyra, and Ben Gali are new Thundercats. They were presumed dead when they didn't make it to a thundercat ship before Thundera blew up. Luckily, some berbils saw them and rescued them in time. The berbils were likewise headed for a new planet because their's was two small. After being on third earth awhile, Cheetara used her gift to see if they had made it. Lynx-O, Pumyra, and Ben Gali were rescued from the evil clutches of Mumm-Ra. They were annointed Thundercats.

NAME: Lynx-O (Doug Preis)
Lynx-O is the oldest and wisest Thundercat alive. He was blinded by fire right before Thundera exploded. He has been able to "fine tune" his other senses because of this. Also, a Braille-board was made for him, primarily, to learn about the Lunatacs. Now, it is used to help guide through the Forest of Mist and to learn about other things before the rest of the Thundercats learn about them.
NAME: Pumyra (Gerrian Raphael)
Pumyra, is the Thudercat we know the least about. She did not have a leading role in most episodes. What we do know, is that she was quick and was good at using a sling. Her sling, like most of the Thundercats' weapons, was not ordinary though.
NAME: Ben Gali (Peter Newman)
Ben Gali, was a blacksmith on Thundera. He has a special hammer that fires bursts of energy. Also, the hammer has reforged the Sword of Omens several times. Ben Gali hates when he has to hold down a fort and miss some "action" fighting bad guys.
NAME: Snarfer
Snarfer, like his uncle Snarf, graduated from Snarf College. He is a good technician. He can be a little annoying sometimes but keeps a positive attitude. Snarfer was the one to reveal his uncles name, Osbert.
NAME: Scooper
Scooper came to WilyKat and Kit, as a gift from the Berbils. Scooper is no ordinary dog. He has many features but one seen often, when he is on, is his ability to fly like a helicopter.
NAME: Jaga (Earl Hammond)
Jaga was the wisest Thundercat while he was living. After Thundera exploded, he took it upon himself to fly the flagship to safety. Halfway through the trip he became to old and died. He is now on the astral plane. Jaga still appears to Lion-O to help him rule wisely. Jaga was the previous owner of the Sword of Omens.
NAME: Claudis
Claudis is Lion-O's blind father. He is the one who made sure his son left Thundera before it was destroyed. For years, Lion-O thought that his father stayed behind on Thundera even when it was being destroyed. However, an enemy of Claudis captured him before the explosion. After finding this out, Lion-O took Claudis from the Shadowmasters clutches. Claudis is now on the same plane Jaga resides.
