Gazinya Wars '06 - World Title - Triple Threat TLC - Rod gazinya vs. Kid Kaos vs. Victor Pyscho

The scene opens at the GFW arena following Tuesday Night Prime. Rod Gazinya fresh off a victory alongside his cousin Frankie, defending the GFW tag team titles is confronted outside the dressing room by Rexford.

Rex - Rod.....your tag title defense, while swift and decisive is the least of what is on everyone's minds. You have successfully managed to get your long awaited rematch for the GFW world title earlier tonight. Nester made the match but, you will have to share that opportunity with someone else....Victor Pyscho. How do you feel about sharing the spotlight and what are we going to expect from you at Gazinya Wars?

Rod takes a moment to ponder the question. With all gimmicks aside, Rod lays it all on the table as clear as possible. He glares at the camera and then looks into the eyes of GFW announcer Rexford Hurlburt.

Rod - What can you expect from me at Gazinya Wars? I think you know damn well what to expect from me. I don't have to stand here and throw out catch line after catch line. I don't have to convince anyone of the facts that everyone already knows. I am the number one contender, I have always been the number one contender and the only time that isn't the case is when I'm holding that strap.

Yea, Nester made the match but, if you recall it was Nester who handed the strap to Kid Kaos back at Gazinya Games. Sure the Kid has made for a good champion, he's built himself up here and taken on all comers except one. He knows who he has yet to face and you are looking at him.

It's a common practice around here. You know drop the GFW title to someone who is not a Gazinya, let them build some credibility then bring them back to reality. That reality is that I run the show here...I am the main event....I am the true showstopper in this organization and after Gazinya Wars, I will be the five time GFW champion! Mark that on your calendar Kid, October 22nd will be your last day at the top here because forever there will be a revolving market of superstars who succumb to to me....to fall at my feet and put me over. Why else do you think Kid Kaos was brought here from the GZW?

Rod demands an answer from Rex but, he is too shaken to reply. The sheer intensity of Rod Gazinya makes Rex shake in his proverbial boots as he answers for everyone out there at home.

Rod - He was brought here to at some point, put me over. Just like everyone in this company. He not once stood up and granted me my rematch....a match I most certainly deserved. He beat me with help from Nester so it's only ironic that Nester is responsible for booking this match. The next event I went out with Frankie and I pinned Kid Kaos and Nester at the same time. I proved without a shadow of a doubt, Kid Kaos' title reign would inevitebly end where it started......and that is to me.

Kid Kaos....You've been a deserving champion. But, the fact of the matter is that every title defense you have had has been mediocre at best. The competition wasn't that tough but, that didn't seem to bother you. I didn't see you stand up once at all and say hey as a true champion, the former champion should get his rematch. Just to prove it was no fluke. Well Kid....it may not have been a fluke, it was cleverly orchestrated but, fact is it is time to own up. I am your biggest challenger and after all those weeks, you had to have this match forced onto you because you weren't going to willingly lobby for it. Admit it, you liked how you were lined up against easy challenger after easy challenger. It made you feel pretty good about yourself knowing that you're just midcard at best in the GZW.

That's what I thought. At Gazinya Wars, you get vintage Rod Gazinya. You get a performance on the big stage like no other. You get the absolute best I have to offer this company and the absolute best match I can offer my opponents....

Rexford, knowing that there is more to this match than just the Kid Kaos/Rod Gazinya rivalry, makes sure to point out the obvious.

Rex - Lets not forget about Victor Pyscho. He has certainly earned a shot as well. And lets not forget that Nester has been sure to make this a TLC match. Victor is no stranger to the rules of that. He is very much at home when it comes down to fighting hardcore type matches with weapons. Do you think that this may favor him in the least?

Rod is perplexed by the notion. He simply makes no fuss about it but, states the obvious.

Rod - Look if you didn't interrupt me you would have heard. I am offering my best performance not only Kid Kaos but, Victor Pyscho as well. I don't mind sharing the spotlight....that is what I relish in. Making superstars is what I'm about. But, you know look....sure Victor earned a shot. Lots of people earned a shot. Mike Moore earned a shot. Even Jack Brown and Stinky Steve earned shots. Earning a shot is nothing. Winning the biggest prize in this company is something. Victor Pyscho hasn't done anything yet. As far as his match preferences, he can be good at swinging a steel chair all day. He can be all about breaking florescent lights on his body and getting cancer all day long. That does not concern me. In any event I will help make him a star because I excell in high profile matches with lesser talent. I have my entire career. From my first big exposure stepping in for my brother Dick with the Nasty Dick Experience to winning four GFW world titles! I excell under the spotlight and I excell under pressure. We have one of the two right now. All we need is some pressure from Victor and the Kid and we'll be all set!

With that, Nester leaves Rex in silence and walks away. Nothing more to say as Rod layed it all on the line, clean cut with no gimmicks. It is his time once again. Bring on the pressure.
