TNP 11/21

Fresh off defending the GFW tag team titles single handedly at Tuesday Night Prime, Rod Gazinya prepares for a major title defense. With B-pac coming to the GFW, it was only inevitable that Rod would face the man that had many memoriable moments with his brother Dick back in the old days. Rod Gazinya made that happen by winning the GFW title for a record fifth time against the man that beat him for it, Kid Kaos. Making a statement in one of the only saving graces of Gazinya Wars '06, Rod disposed of the self proclaimed unofficial main eventer. There is a new main eventer in town. His name is B-pac and the following week he earned his shot by beating Kid Kaos. It is all set or so we think.

On November 21st, Rod gazinya will defend his GFW title in a warm up title defense against Scott Summers. Meaningless maybe but, not in the eyes of Scott Summers. There is nothing like someone who has nothing to lose and that is exactly what Scott has going for him. Then again we are talking about Rod Gazinya here. The cornerstone fo the GFW. This is a warm up, plain and simple. Just as B-Pac will get a warm up against Scott's brother Alex at the same show. From there Nester will announce the date and time and the mega main event of Rod Gazinya versus B-Pac for the GFW title will be set. But, never look past your next match.

The camera cuts to a shot of Rod Gazinya standing in a white Armani suit, with the GFW title over his shoulder. He stands in front of a GFW TNP backdrop and prepares to deliver a promo to hype the late night telecast featuring his warm up title defense. He slips his sunglasses off and hangs them on his sports jacket. Gripping his GFW title, Rod begins his promo.

"Never look past your next match. I've learned that before and that is a lesson you never forget. While I've got plenty of things to talk about B-Pac and our to be announced huge extravaganza.....there will be no extravaganza if I don't walk out of Tuesday Night Prime the GFW champion."

The GFW champ grips his title and holds it up for the camera to see. He points to the letters on the gold trophy as he continues.

"The GFW champion.....the very best this company has to offer. Not Kid Kaos, not Jugernaut, not any of the other phonies that have held it. The very best and you are looking at him. I've learned so many lessons over my five GFW title reigns. So many, too many to count. But, that's why they are lessons because you learn from them. I've learned plenty and I know that the next match of your career is the most important."

Rod takes the strap and flings it back over his broad shoulder.

"So forget B-Pac for now. Lets talk about Scott Summers. You see Scott....I know you are upset that this match is being billed as a warm up GFW title match. You think I'm looking for an easy match, an easy win to notch on my record. Well you know what Scott....everyone here in the GFW has been paying attention to you. I know you are frustrated. You just got on TV and you lost. But, we have recognized your talent here. We know you have skill. Face it, you wouldn't be in this match if you didn't. I don't need a warm up match against some nobody with no skill. I need an opponent who can put on a clinic, something that is also my specialty. I expect you to go all out Scott. I expect that having nothing to lose will drive you. I want the whole Scott Summers package."

The champ licks his lips as he cocks his head and looks us dead in the eyes.

"Because it ain't gonna matter. I'm gonna beat you but, I'm gonna teach you a few of those lessons that I learned way back in the day. And Scott...you are gonna be better for it. Mark my words Scott....you WILL be better for it. This is more than just a warm up for me. This is a chance for you to showcase your skills. Who better to showcase them against than Rod Gazinya? You come to Prime and you bring that hunger that I've been seeing in your eyes Scott. And tell you what...you won't be the GFW champion...not off my back but, you will move up the GFW ladder. And that is something that I am about Scott. I make stars out of my opponents. Look at what I did for Kid Kaos' career. So Tuesday Night Prime....November 21st. Rod gazinya versus Scott Summers. I'm not looking past you Scott....I'm looking right at you! Come try to take this title from me.....that's exactly what I want!"

A cocky smirk illuminates Rod's face as the promo cuts and we see black.
