My Favorite Seinfeld Episodes


The Top 13

These are my favorite Seinfeld episodes and why they are my favorites.
It was hard to narrow it down to a top 10, so I went and did a top 13.
Here they are:

1. The Fusilli Jerry-David Puddy steals Jerry's "move", George tries to 
    spice up his sex life, Elaine wants "the move", Kramer gets the wrong
    license plate.
   I like this episode because:
    a) Kramer takes on the identity of the "Assman".
    b) George's crib notes in bed
    c) Puddy
    d) Mr. Costanza's "accident" with the Fusilli Jerry

2. The Non-Fat Yogurt-Elaine dates Lloyd Braun, George's nemesis, George
    has elbow spasms, Jerry gets kid hooked on cussing, Kramer gets 
    involved with lab worker.
    I like this episode becuase:
    a) the censored beeps, a TV first. 
    b) Newman's love for the yogurt
    c) Elaine's name tag idea that cost Dinkins the election

3) The Wig Master-Jerry feels emasculated, Elaine feels she's being used 
    by clothing salesman, Kramer gets mistaken for pimp, George's parking
    lot is being used to cover up a prostitution ring.
    I like this episode because:
    a) Kramer's transistion into a pimp
    b) Susan catching George handing money to the hooker
    c) Jerry returning the jacket out of spite
    d) Kramer sleeping over at Jerry's. Kramer to Elaine: "Now if you excuse us, we have to get to bed."

4) The Jimmy-George markets new shoes, Kramer mistaken as mentally disabled,
   Jerry thinks dentist is a pervert, Elaine gets hit on by third-person
   speaking Jimmy.
   I like this episode because:
   a) Jimmy
   b) Jerry awaking from the gas seeing the dentist & nurse putting clothes
      back on.
   c) Mel Torme singing to Kramer at the benefit.

5) The Soup Nazi-Jerry & his girlfriend sicken George, Elaine gets her
   armoire stolen, Kramer connects with the soup nazi.
   I like this episode because:
   a) Jerry choosing soup over the girl
   b) Shmoopie!
   c) The armoire theifs scaring Kramer
   
6) The Little Kicks-Elaine's dancing is terrible, George gets pegged as the 
   "bad boy", Jerry gets involved in bootlegging movies, with help of Kramer.
   I like this episode becuase:
   a) Jerry, as the tortured bootlegging genius
   b) Elaine's dancing "a full body dry heave set to music"
   c) Kramer telling it straight to Elaine "No, that's not dancing"
   
7) The Hot Tub-Kramer gets a hot tub, Elaine & Jerry feud over best interests
   of a marathon runner (Jean-Paul), George pretends to be always annoyed.
   a) George's philosophy that if he looks annoyed, it looks like he's busy.
   b) Jean-Paul's confusion that everyone calles everyone a "bastard" or a
      "sonofabitch".
   c) Jerry and the wake-up guy. "That wake up guy was TROUBLE"
   d) George and his Texas pals 

8) The Cheever Letters-George & Susan tell Mr. Ross that his cabin is burned
   down, Jerry offends girl with dirty talk, Kramer tries to get some more
   Cuban cigars.
   I like this episode because:
   a) "The panties your mother laid out for you"
   b) The Cheever Letters. Elaine to Jerry: "Have you read John Cheever?"
      Jerry: "I'm familiar with some of his writings"
   c) Jerry and George's procrastination. George: "What do we have?"
      Jerry: "You come in and say hi, I say hello. Now we need something 
      right here."

9) The Reverse Peephole-Jerry gets a European carry-all, Puddy's fur coat 
   annoys Elaine, George's wallet, Kramer & Newman reverse their peepholes.
   I like this episode because:
   a) Kramer: "If people want to get an eyefull, we say enjoy the show."
   b) Jerry gets reduced to wearing a "purse"
   c) George's HUGE wallet.
   d) Puddy's fur coat and 8-ball jacket.

10) The Contest-Upon George's getting caught masturbating by his
    mom, the gang has a contest to see who can hold out the   
    longest.
    I like this episode becuase:
    a) Kramer coming into the cafe, putting down his money and 
      saying "I'm out!"
    b) Everyone awake while Kramer is asleep.
    c) George's mother's hospitalization because of it.
    d) It's hilarious

11) The Airport-Elaine gets stuck in 2nd class, Jerry is in 1st 
    class, George & Kramer pick them up at the airport.
    I liked this episode because:
    a) Kramer coming out of the baggage claim.
    b) George teasing the convict w/ Time magazine
    c) Jerry's  pampering in 1st class
    d) Elaine sneaking into 1st class. Jerry: "That curtain is
       no protection, there really should be a locking door."

12) The Finale-The "Jerry" show gets picked up and NBC will fly the gang wherever they want to go. So they go to Paris and on the way there, their plane gets screwed up and they end up in a small town called Latham, Mass. They witness a robbery and are arrested under the "Good Sumaritan Law" for not helping the victim. They are put on trial and character witness such as the Soup Nazi, Babu Bhatt, Sidra, and Mr. Pitt accuse them of being morally corrupt. The gang ends up getting sentanced to a year in prison, removed from society.
I liked this episode because:
    a) it was a suitable ending to a show about these immature
       adults who need to grow up. 
    b) It culminated all the guest stars of the past into one
       show.
    c) It was funny.
    d) Newman finally got his revenge on Jerry.
 
 13) The Pothole-George loses keys in pothole, Jerry won't use 
    girlfriend's toothbrush, Kramer adopts strip of highway,
    Elaine tries to get chinese food delivered even though she's
    outside of the delivery area
    I like this episode because:
    a) Kramer expanding his new highway
    b) Elaine taking the job of a janitor to get chinese food
    c) When the toilet explodes and Jerry looks at his girlfriend
       and gives her the "this isn't working out" look.
