Weezer has named their new bassist. He is Mike Welsh from the Julianna Hatfield Band. The band will start recording the third album very soon and it is due out late summer at the latest.

There is a song called "American Girls" on the upcoming Disney movie "Meet the Deetles", which came out on March 27. It is performed by "Homey" which included Matt and Rivers from Weezer.
