Xander and Cordy's relationship really changed after BBB, when Cordy gave Harmony a piece of her mind and told the little sheep that she would date whoever she wanted to, "no matter how lame he is." FINALLY Cordy stood up for herself and though she would hate to admit it, for her friends and her man. After BBB, they were officially a couple, and officially damn awesome. They still fought, still wanted to roll around with each other, and still managed to be interesting.

Of course, one has to wonder about Xander's motives in this whole thing. Whether he wants to admit it or not, he is in love with Buffy and Willow, and I bet he is in love with Cordy too. He just loves them all for different reasons, and is way overprotective of each of them. Perhaps Xander is trying to make Buffy jealous, but it isn't quite doing the trick. Whatever his deal is, at least he chose Cordy to be with instead of some other ugly girl. He really got lucky with that one!
