Dru is quite an interesting character. Except insert "fucking psychotic" for "interesting" and "freakshow" for "character," and it might be a bit more accurate. I was especially fond of the pre-WML Dru, as she was much more wacko and a little less hellbent on destruction. Mostly, she sat around saying crazy things that ended up being really funny. Plus, she seemed to leave Miss Edith behind once she got well again, and my favorite scenes with Dru involved Miss Edith. I am actually obsessed with Miss Edith. Miss Edith, Miss Edith, Miss Edith. After a while, I just got tired of Drusilla. She was still nuts, but it just didn't have the same feeling. It was humorous to watch her caring for Spike, but that lost the fun too. I really wanted her to go back to the way she was in "School Hard" and "Lie to Me". But don't get me wrong, I would absolutely love to see a return of Juliet Landau as Drusilla. Her performances were always excellent, and the character was interesting enough to intrigue me. I liked seeing her in "Becoming", before she was turned. It's hilarious that she used to be all good and praying. Angel must have really wacked her out.
