A tuxeoed Jack kisses Rose's hand with enough passion to melt an iceberg.
Jack and Rose lock lips for the first time on the bow of Titanic. With that golden sunset, the rustling waves, and the swooning music, we were flying too.
Jack's blue eyes fill the screen (Note from me: This is where I nudge my best friend Kim everytime we see it) as he draws his beloved's portrait. (In fact, those eyes are what the elderly Rose first recalls when she begins to tell her tale.)
Rose's sweaty palm presses against the fogged-over car window.
"You jump, I jump, right?"
Jack tells Rose that winning the ticket was the best thing that ever happened to him. "It brought me to you," he says, through chattereing teeth.
Moments before his death, Jack makes Rose swear that she will survive: "Promise me now, Rose, and never let go of that promise." She cries, "I'll never let go, Jack!" We all cried with her.
Just after her rescue, Rose states her last name as being Dawson, proving that while her heart will go on, Jack will always be a part of her.
