Welcome to The Heart of The Ocean, I hope you enjoy your stay! Please sign my guestbook on your way out! TITANIC begins as a simple love story between two young people on their way to a new life. Yet, theirs is the type of relationship that this ship of dreams was built to prevent -- Rose (Kate Winslet) is a privileged young woman on a luxury trip with her mother (Frances Fisher) and rich fiance (Billy Zane), while Jack (Leonardo DiCaprio) is a vagabond painter who wins passage in a card game. Overcoming the physical and social barriers that normally would keep them apart, the two fall in love just as the supposedly unsinkable Titanic encounters a fatal iceberg.
