A darkness walks unbidden here,
Among the mortal souls we own.
It eats the light and feeds on fear,
And rips the flesh off tender bone.
Shadows swarm us,
Coldness bites us,
In the end they come upon us,
To kill us all without a fuss.
We run, we scream, we try to hide,
Our cries fall silent on deaf ears,
The demons come, in souls they bide,
Burst forth from bodies lost to tears.
And in the end we kill ourselves,
Our lack of morals leads to death,
And in the end the Darkness delves,
And humans gone in just one breath.
