I’m so sick of everyone blaming television and film violence, the Internet and lack of
gun control for the school shootings. If you want to know the real reason behind the rage
that engulfs these kids, causing them to snap then look to their classmates. No one ever
places the blame there. After a school is attacked in a reprisal for the segregationist
culture that it helped create, who would dare say anything about the supposed “victims”
of the crime? But what about the social elitist fucks who sit up high on their pedestal, a
modern bourgeois- the privileged- who take it upon themselves to judge who will be
allowed to lead a happy and productive life in high school? You know who I mean.
They go by many different names, but they are the same arrogant self righteous bastards
where ever you go . The Jocks, The Preps- The Cheerleaders, all too worried about the
color of their prom dress to notice the people being incarcerated in a living hell for the
simple crime of being different. They are the real murderers. Every time a boy is
taunted in the hallway, Every time a kid is beaten up for not conforming to a certain style
of dress, Every time favoritism of the good looking and wealthy takes place- the
quarter back gets a light sentence for drunk driving, Every time The Coaches Boys Can
Do No Harm mentality is put in place- They are contributing to the hatred which will
lead to their own demise. If you were to be forced by law, to attend a place where you
were physically and mentally abused everyday and nothing was done to stop it, you
would call this a social injustice- right? And don’t you suppose that after a consecutive
number of years of this torment you would eventually snap and lash back at your
tormentors? You can take away all the video games, all the TV violence and ban every
type of gun and explosive ever made. But until the ruling class of the high schools has
learned their lesson and waved a white flag of surrender, those that they chose to exclude
and oppress are going to fight back in anyway they can. So the next time you turn on the
news and another school has been hit, don’t ask why the killers chose this course of
action, but why their classmates in control chose to provoke it.
When we look back at the black civil rights movement of the 1960’s we view it as a
courageous time- a people standing up for their human rights. When there were riots in
the streets people can understand why. It is no different now with these kids lashing back
at a society that has wronged them. Except in this situation it is not as straight forward.
There are no water fountains marked ‘Jocks Only’. The segregation and abuse of the
children who are different in schools is not out in the open, but underhanded. Who do
they turn to for help? The school administration in its favoritism and lack of action can
often lead to greater hatred among the mistreated toward their aggressors. So they
become frustrated with their rage and at the injustice. This frustration is what I believe
leads to many of the school shootings. Some high schools can become so caught up in
the clique atmosphere that it can lead to gang like warfare amongst the different groups
as was the case with Columbine. Some drastic measures for schools at risk (or after a
shooting) would be uniforms starting in kindergarten to break up the dress code that kids
create for themselves that is an essential part of cliques, end pep rallies which help to
establish and parade the popular or ‘ruling class’ in high schools, and most importantly
decrease the amount of spending on athletics and devalue there importance, putting more
attention into academics and other programs.

What I’m thinking is that they should come out with Trench Coat Mafia the Video Game.
Now don’t get me wrong. I’m not saying that I agree with what the kids at Columbine
did. I’m just saying that this would be a good way for loosers in high school to act out
some of thier kill/revenge fantasys without anyone actually getting hurt. It could be a
multiplayer game in which you pick from a selection of game characters including all the
kids who recently went postal- the two Jonesbouro kids, Luke Woodham of Pearl,
Mississipi fame, Kip Kinkle of the Oregon shooting and of course the two Trenchcoats
(reserected from the dead.) In in the begining of the game thier could be a little bio of
each with stats like how many children each of them knocked off, and reasons why they
snapped. One of those cool cinimatic intro sequences could start it off depicting geeks
being tortured by the popular kids and then one of them buying weapons shouting “Its
payback time!” It would take place in Columbine High since from the reports I read that
was the school with the most combat action. In the first level you would battle a variety
of Jocks who throw different exploding balls at you and Cheerleaders with poisonous
pom pom darts. Players would power up by going into the bathroom to buy crack and
weed from your freindly high school dealer. Following the corridors of the school untill
they reach the gym wear they must battle the masters of the level, unrelenting Gym
teachers and Coaches, who always made them do extra pushups in class because they
were unpopular and not on the team. Once the physical education staff is deystroyed and
the students masacered, it’s on to Level Two where you must battle the ATF agents who
have just entered the building on a mission to stop you from your glorious rampage
against those who have wronged you. Since there is no way in hell you are going to
overpower hordes of ATF agents and SWAT teams, the only way to win the game is to A.
Make it to the schools boiler room where you can detonate a large home made propane
tank bomb that will effectivly blow up the entire school or B.Kill as many agents as
possible and then surrender and spend the rest of your life in a small cell being raped in
the ass by Fred the United States Postal Worker who walked into his Post Office and
killed twenty of his co-workers, but since they were old and unpopular no one gave it
much notice.
I heard the trench coats were heavily into weed. Since it was on April 20th- you know
the pot thing?-I think they were trying to kill 420 people just as a practicle joke.
