Hey there this is Ryan from little old Herkimer,NY. (don't ask you've probably never heard of it, which is probably a good thing) I, me, myself, Ryan - Phil Haney's alter ego and arch nemisis, his Dr. Evil if you may. Still Phil is smart enough to recgonize writing and acting genuis which is why he has enlisted me to assist him with running of 33productions and more specificly Blissful Idiots. Part of my role in the production is coaxing Phil during his numerous emotional and physical breakdowns, and attempting to limit his uncontroled fits of rage usually resulting in the death of numorous small animals. But getting real for a moment, what I really like to do is write funny, orginal skits for the show. I'm sort of the other writer, who doesn't write about sex, porn, and privates. I try to provide a little balance to the show.
I do love the the show and all the humor it provides. Besides writing I am more interested in working behind the camera, in directing. Since seeing my first feature film (My Little Ponies and the Rainbow Crusade, don't hold it against me I was five and forced to go with my younger sister) I have been in love with the movie industry and every little insignifgant thing about it. My favorite film is of course Citizen Kane still the irrefutable best after all these years, though Casablanca, Godfather II, The Usual Suspects, and Star Wars are not far behind. So I have been basically a movie nut all my life and want desperatly to be able to direct and write in the industry I so admire. Which probably does little to explain why I am currently a History and Politics major at Ithaca College. A walking contradiction of complexities just like Charles Foster Kane. Just joking. I do enjoy writing screenplays and have developed about six different treatments which hopefully one day, in the not to distant future, will be coming to a theater near you (I know I'am really reaching, but hey I'm a dreamer).
There's lot's more of signifigance about my life, but if you've gotten this far you might be bored my the musings of Ryan Vooris so I'll make the rest short and sweet. I am a college sophomore (Ithaca College), currently dating a the very funny and extremely beautiful girl named Meredith who rules sumpreme over all women, (except for her roommate), can't believe the President of the United States is an uncovicted felon, think Snapple Rasberry Ice Tea is the greatest drink ever made, believe in God, the Bible and the endless possiblities of optimism, memorize movie scripts for fun, believe Jerry Seinfeld to be the funniest human alive and his show to be true art in it's finest, am a big history buff of the Civil War, also a big fan of Starbucks, believe Robert DeNiro to be the single greatest actor ever, can't stand being near large bodies of water, will continue to root for the Atlanta Braves to win the world series no matter how many times they choke, think I have figured out most of The X-Files, enjoy recieting the occasional tale of Mung, and...oh...I also have never seen Goonies. So yeah life is diffently good right now. Looking forward to many more laughs from 33productions and the Blissful Idiots, I just hope Phil doesn't kill any more small animals or I'am making him dig the hole next time.
