Tips for "Titanic" Makeup:

How to get Titanic Hair

Kate's exquisitely long curly locks are actually quite easy to achieve.
Try setting the hair with a mix of large and small curls, as well as random corkscrew or spiral curls.
The key is to not brush out the loose set, but to finger-comb and lightly spritz.
Another tip: adding hair accessories such as jeweled barrettes, gem studded hairbands,
or hair combs such as the beautiful butterfly comb that Rose wore (see below
for links on where to find replicas of the comb), can offer an antique feel
on longer lengths and also accentuate shorter hair.

Note: Kate Winslet's own gorgeous natural blond hair color had to be dyed in order
to achieve that gorgeous red color she sports for the character of "Rose." Try Clairol Natural
Instincts in Cinnaberry or Terracotta for the "Rose" haircolor.

For replicas
of the butterfly comb that Rose wears in the movie, try :

Byrd Designs Byrd Designs has a beautiful Titanic Collection including a Heart of the Ocean replica,
butterfly comb, and the jewelery Rose wore during the "jumping off the back of the ship"
scene when she first meets Jack, among other pieces.
