Davis, who wrote and directed "The Match," will next direct "Modigliani." The European-financed picture, to which Andy Garcia is attached to star, is expected to shoot on location in Bucharest in the spring.

Andy Garcia's daughter Dominik Garcia-Lorido was selected as Miss and Mr. Golden Globe for the 60th Annual Golden Globe Awards to be telecast live on NBC on Sunday, Jan. 19, 2003.
Traditionally, Miss and Mr.Golden Globe, who assist in the Golden Globes ceremony, are the daughter and son of well-known performers.
Dominik's interest in the arts began when she became a ballerina at age 3. In addition to acting in school plays such as "Damn Yankees," "Harvey," "Enter Laughing," "The Pajama Game" and "Cheaper By the Dozen," Dominik appeared in the film "Steal Big Steal Little." In high school, her extracurricular activities included serving as the school chaplain, a varsity cheerleader, and a member of the varsity basketball team.
Garcia-Lorido was born in South Miami, Fla., and has three younger siblings. She has been trained at the Lee Strasberg Studio and Sanford Meisner Institute. She has also received dramatic training from Josh Adell and is currently enrolled in the freshman class at UCLA's School of Theatre, Film and Television.
