Union Solider Tells of Battle
2:30 p.m. - although the exact location is unknown, the Confederate Army was intercepted Union Troops last week. "Jefferson Busey, 16, tells of this event: "we [union troops] had been marching all day, when we encountered a large group of Rebels" According to Mr. Busey, "they were hidden in the woods, shooting out at us in the fields. It seemed like two months before our commanding officer gave us the command to fire. If it wasn't for my friend Noah, I would have been killed that day. I tried to shoot him, but it was too close range, and he moved too quickly. Then, I ran into him as fast as I could to try knock him over, and ended up clinging to his shoe. The Confederate drew a knife and was just about to use it to cut me from his leg, when Noah, noticing our struggle, came up behind the confederate and killed him. After that, the two of us went to go help the Artillery, when their men deserted. After the Artily man (we never learned his) showed us how to load, clean, and fire a canon, we helped stop the Rebels comming in from behind us. After the battle was over, he took our names. After the battle, the Union Troops had to move on, because more Confederates would be comming to aid their comrades. After packing up the Artilery, we were on our way. After dark, when we made camp for the night, a meeting was called, during which Noah, and I were called forth. We thought we would be punished for breaking ranks and going to help the Artilery, since Noah and I are in the infintry. As it turned out, we each got a medal, for 'Courage beyond the call of duty.' After that, we all got some sleep, for the long march ahead of us, some people sleeping on folded blankets, others on hey bundled up on the ground."
We will give more details of this event as they are confirmed.

Union Spy Caught!!!
5:30 a.m. At 5:30 yesterday morning, two Confederate soldiers were revealed Union Spies. Although one was killed during a battle, the other was chased north through the woods. So far, the Calvary hasn't been able to locate him, but a hound dog is being brought up from Texas. So far, the dog hasn't let anything get away. A confederate official commented on how slim the chances are for the Union spy. If he is forced out of the woods, he'll be easy to find, and he won't survive long with what he has in the woods. The confederates have surrounded the woods on all sides, and expect the union spy, supposedly named Jefferson Busey, to head North. Busey and his unknown partner were attempting to uncover the source for the Confederates repeating rifles, capable of firing seven times a minute without reloading. As it turned out, Busey discovered the source just before fleeing to the woods. It was Union Commander Captian Clardy.
