DARIA: Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. I'm Daria Morgendorffer, animated cartoon character and small screen legend in my own lifetime. I've been asked to introduce Steve Cross' series of fanfics, which have the collective title of Tiffany's World. Steve likes to think of them as a spin-off series. The new show will center on the four girls at Lawndale High formerly known as the Fashion Club, as they negotiate their senior year and decide on the next stage of their lives. The main character will be Tiffany.

Can you believe a Daria spin-off show based on Tiffany Blum-Denkler? Neither could I. That’s why you’re reading it on an Internet fanfic site instead of watching it on TV. Steve Cross, author of these fanfics, has taken Tiffany, Sandi, Quinn, and Stacy in interesting new directions. Quinn and Stacy will continue along lines suggested by the fifth season of Daria. Tiffany and Sandi will make some major changes, without ceasing to be who they are. This isn’t out of character. It’s called character development. But just between you and me and the cell phone, I think Steve has a fetish for teenage Asian girls.

The first season of Tiffany's World will be thought-provoking, satirical, dramatic, poignant and chock-full of hip pop culture references. Anyway, Steve thinks they’re hip. At times it even threatens to be funny. In sum, the stories you are about to read may not be the best Daria-based fanfics in history, but believe me, I’ve been in some that were much worse. Enjoy!
