EROTIC SURVIVOR 2
PLOT-Two teams of lesbians in Africa compete for a grand prize of $20.
VIOLENCE-None.
SEX/NUDITY-All six of the female contestants appear topless throughout the movie, and have softcore sex with each other many times (for no apparent reason).
WHY I WATCHED IT-I'm a huge fan of director John Bacchus, and an ardent supporter of Seduction Cinema. Also, I'm a fan of the original EROTIC SURVIVOR, a brilliant parody of the popular television show.
WHY I DIDN'T LIKE IT-John Bacchus movies usually kick ass and are hilarious, but he really let me down this time. I have a feeling this movie was done purely to make money off the titty. First off, I understand that none of the girls that made the first EROTIC SURVIVOR so good could have been in this movie, since you can't be on the show twice. But why was this one so humorless and blah? Even John himself (who reprises his role as the host) seems to really not be having any fun at all! The first movie had a ton of Seduction Cinema's best stars (Darian Caine, Jade, Esmerelda Delarocca, Misty Mundae, Debbie Rochon), but I only recognized 2 girls out of the 6 in the cast of this movie (both had roles in EROTIC WITCH 2). Second, I know the fans were miffed that men were contestants in the original (although only women had sex, of course), but I think that SOMEONE needed to provide some comic relief. Without any jokes, all you're left with is titty. And usually the energy and humor is what separates John's films from the usual titty movie. Why was this movie made? It has no soul, man. It's just kind of...there. No one seemed to be having a good time. Thankfully, John Bacchus released his far superior film PLAYMATE OF THE APES the same day as this, just to let us know he still can kick ass when he wants to.
SAVING GRACE-Seeing girls do a relay race in which they have to carry a bunch of pennies with their breasts is amusing, and the sex trivia contest was funny and informative.
DVD NOTES- Not much in the way of extras here. You get a "making of" feature that's not very long (and not surprisingly, has no funny outtakes), and four trailers. Given that the movie itself wasn't that good, Seduction Cinema could've at least included some decent extras to make it worth buying.
