LORD OF THE G-STRINGS: THE FEMALESHIP OF THE STRING
PLOT-Three female "Throbbits" set out on an adventure to destroy the sacred G-String, which holds irresistable lesbonic powers.
VIOLENCE-A few comedic battle scenes with no blood or fake limbs.
SEX/NUDITY-I lost count of how many times I saw naked women making out, that's how much is in here. And like SATAN'S SCHOOL FOR SLUTS, there are even a couple hetero love scenes. Fans know that's rare for a Seduction Cinema release.
WHY I WATCHED IT-Honestly I can't think of any reason why someone WOULDN'T want to watch this movie. The title and premise alone are great. But as a longtime fan of Seduction Cinema, I couldn't wait for this thing to come out. Darian Caine is in it. Terry West directed it. I am there. End of story.
THE DOPE-Just when I thought Seduction Cinema had given up on the erotic parody that made them famous (or comedy all together), LORD OF THE G-STRINGS came along and reminded me why I started watching their movies in the first place, and why I always kept buying their DVDs year after year. G-STRINGS is absolutely incredible independent filmmaking. It's hilarious, dead-on, expertly written, and very very sexy. I dare say it's not only one of their finest films, but the greatest thing director Terry West has done so far. It's as funny as I hoped, even more so in many instances. But what's amazing is how big of a production really G-STRINGS is. Tackling a parody of such an immense movie had to be challenging, but they pulled it off in a really big and satisfying way. I laughed out loud several times, particularly at Michael R. Thomas as Smirnoff The Drunken Wizard and John Fedele as Smirnoff's flatulent nemesis (the "dutch oven" scene!). Thomas was great as the priest in WITCHBABE and as the cop in EROTIC WITCH 2, but he really shines in this one. It's called good comedy, plain and simple. And let's not forget the girls! I was glad to see A.J. Khan back, she's always been one of their better actors (although I miss Jade Duboir). And you can't go wrong with Misty Mundae and the always kickass Darian Caine. Actually most all my favorites showed up in this one, including Barbara Joyce and Ruby LaRocca. I've commented in the past about Seduction Cinema movies and how if you took out the sex scenes you'd have nothing. Not so with G-STRINGS, it would be a completely solid film without it. That's a testament to the writing and the acting, and the general quality of the project. LORD OF THE G-STRINGS scores very high with me, and proves without question that Terry West is indeed one talented muh-fucka. Bravo Bibo!
MEMORABLE SCENES-Smirnoff the wizard tells little Dildo Saggins (Misty Mundae) that he has a gift for her. "Reach in my pocket and see if you can find it", he says. Damn that's funny.
DVD NOTES-This disc has a great lengthy documentary on the making of the movie, full of interviews with the director and crew and actors alike. It's the kind of thing I wish Seduction Cinema would do more often, seeing as how none of their discs have commentary tracks. I think people will see this movie and respect what went into the making of it, so it's great they included this. There's also some behind the scenes stuff just like many of the Seduction discs have, featuring loads of footage of Darian Caine horsing around being her usual hilarious self.
