shotwell jazz quartet, led by my friend steve meicke (the saxophonist), contributed three songs to the soundtrack of Just Outside the Door -- blue monk, autumn leaves, and lady bird. all of these songs were taken from the shotwell jazz quartet's self-titled demo tape. each of the three songs play during the three scenes that take place at the restaurant -- one during the main restaurant scene, one during the "pay phone scene," and one during the "bar scene."
