Let me introduce myself with the formal things first: 
My name is Betina Jakobsen and I live in Roskilde, Denmark. I work as an editorial assistant at a publishing house in Copenhagen which basically means that I sit with my head in the computer all day long.

I was born in 1974 in the Zodiac sign, Aries. You might ask yourself why you need that information? Well, I looked it up, and some of the things that this will tell you about the Aries is this:

Aries have a dynamic, but restless personality. Always wanting to go out and do something, never content to sit around and wait for the next adventure. In fact, when you have a new idea or plan, you rush out to start it as soon as possible.

Aries is a natural leader and radiate self confidence. Always willing to take a risk or a gamble with great enthusiasm. You might feel a bit insecure, but no one will ever know.

Hot tempers and childish tantrums are commonly seen coming from you. You cannot stand boredom and if something lacks excitement you will quickly move on. Even your "great" plans will fall by the wayside, if they are stalled in any way. Often, you speak without thinking beforehand. 

Aries, who can be romantic, courageous and optimistic, can also be a royal pain in the ass. When unbalanced, Aries can be overbearing, bossy and blusteringly naive.

Aries is spirit seeking concrete identity through what it can conceive and achieve. Aries must renew itself through doing. As quickly as one idea is born, the cardinal fire of Aries burns on to another. An Aries in action is a flurry of flung sneakers, crumpling junk food wrappers, and snap-snap of a briefcase popping open. Aries are not particularly neat nor are they methodical. You can identify a "pure" Aries by his/her interest in noisy inventions, fire works, boisterous business negotiations, and a penchant for focusing on the self.

How come I am the web mistress of this site? 
After seeing some of Gabriel's movies I became interested in learning more about this appealing person. So, what does a geek like me do - yeah, right ... I surfed on the Internet for more information. I love to gather new information and here was an 'interesting subject' for me to research. 

I fell for the message board at Gabriel Byrne Online - where I got to meet many wonderful persons and I joined the 'Mission Birthday Card' where I got to design a birthday card for Gabriel Byrne's 50th birthday with greetings from people from around the globe! 
      We got the card delivered to him in hand at the big day - and I had finally realized that the Internet is not some far away place where nobody knows who they're really talking to. To me it is a tool to get in contact with many people, to gather and share information. Once I first got over the difficulty of communicating in another language - I jumped in head first. 

Anyway, I read that the former web mistress, Shelly Ross, wanted to get this site of her hands, 'cause she had like 21 other sites to look after too. I thought, well what the heck, I'll have a go for it - why not help out, get some experience and just spend an hour or two a week on this? As it turned out, I have been spending almost every living hour on this site since. There are many things I would like to add or change at this place, but you'll have to be patient - there's only so many hours in a day ... and I do have to go to work and make ends meet too.
