A Little Bit

About MeSelf

Hello! Well, as this is a personal website, I thought I'd tell you a bit about myself. I'm in my 50s and have two sons: One married and out on his own, the other still at home. My precious wife of 32 years passed away suddenly in February of 2008.
I live in Oregon...we lived for about 8 years in the eastern part of the state, but discovered something: I'm a City people and the rural life is not for me! We've since moved to the state capitol - it's a small city and much more our style!

We are all transplants from the San Francisco Bay Area...I was a Navy brat growing up and lived all over the country. The rest of the family are all native Californians.

I work as a letter carrier to pay the bills - first in California then here in Oregon. I have also been active in our union, The National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) as a former Head Steward, branch Vice President and branch President. I fully support the NALC and the job it's doing for us.
Now...about this weird idea about us being violent....totally untrue. We are peaceful folks...but DON'T STRESS ME OUT, OK? I may go Office Worker! I could even *gasp* GO GREYHOUND!!!

I tell people this all the time: I am generally not a sports fan. I'm not into college football...don't watch the NBA...and golf and tennis puts me to sleep. However, I am a fan of the San Francisco Giants, and the

Once these two teams' seasons are done, so am I....until it's World Series and Super Bowl time that is.

We all are very much into video gaming though - mainly with our XBox 360 with XBox Live (Wasn't kiddng, was I?) I prefer the role playing games, while the rest of the family likes adventure, sports (WWF for my son mainly), and the if-it-moves-shoot-it variety.

Finally, before you fall completely asleep with this, some last items: I am a long time liberal Democrat and a Navy vet (one signup...a military career was not for me). I also hold two Associate Arts degrees...one in social science and another in business management. One of these days I'll go back to college for a Bachelor's degree...one of these days...suuuuuure....

Well, enough about me! Thanks for taking the time to read it though. Now you can look at my other, more (hopefully) interesting pages.
