If you have not had much experience in dealing with FTP sites, the best way to access them is with an FTP client like CuteFTP
Once you have it installed and running, All you have to do to input an FTP address is to highlight the full address with the cursor(only the address, no extra spaces. For some clients that would make a big difference). This is called the FTP Client hot copy.
After that, it should start trying to log you in to the server, you might not get in right away though. A few reasons that you may not be able to get in would be if the FTP server can only hold a certain number of users at a time, or the server is temperairily down for a short time.
