Great job! It was a pleasure to finally run across a site devoted to whom I believe is one of the most underrated actors of all time, Roger Moore. It's a shame Moore didn't get some of the respect he so duly earned for his witty, suave version of Bond. He did after all keep the franchise alive through some tough times. If it wasn't for Moore's skill the series could have been sunk for good as far back as the early 70s. I believe Brosnan has done a good job in reviving the Bond movies but they are so m ch different now and lack some of the realism of the earlier Connery/Moore films. Keep up the good work and I hope you continue to update your site often.

I'm an impressionist who has specialized in the the cult genre and am probably best known for my impersonations on tv and radio of Sean, Roger and the casts of the various Star Trek series. I think that had the technology been around I would have liked to design a site like this when I was at school. Fantasic to finally find like-minded people. I thought I was going mad. Nothing touches his eyebrowness as 007. Brosnan and Connery are superb, but Rog gave Bond new, fresh life at a critical time. He relaxed into the role in a second and gave us some of the most unforgettable moments in movie history. The guy is dynamic, classy, suave and Bond all over. I have been a major Roger Moore fan since I was taken to see TSWLM as an 8 year old back in '77! It was my 1st Bond film on the big screen! I'll never forget it! I really do miss seeing him on the big screen. It seems strange that a guy who was in such gr at demand in the 70s is pretty much ignored now. I almost hate to see him in roles like "Spice World". I do realize that the world was introduced to Bond via Connery & that to the(seemingly) vast majority of fans, he is the best Bond. But for those of us who grew up in the 70s & prefer our Bond w/ a charming sense of humor, Moore is The Man! Any one else out there tired of being out numbered in Connery vs Moore debates? I'm running out of "defense points" for him. Can anyone give me some good ammunition?! ONE point I always make in a debate is Roger's car in TSWLM! I'm sorry! But Roger's Lotus BLOWS AWAY ANY Mickey Mouse car Connery drove! That car's design still looks amazing 22 years later! Anyway, would love to discuss Bond, Moore/Connery with other fans! I think that this is a brilliant and fantastic page. I too am a massive Moore fan, and think that he is so much better then Connery, His films are to old, and dated. But Roger's films still WOW audiences to this day. I only hope that ITV's Bond season can inspire or even convert some younger fans. There is something about the man... is'nt there. Very nice site: good to see the silent majority at last refusing to take lying down the laughable view that the Glaswegian Thug was the best Bond. Brosnan is only any good because he is a watered-down Moore (indeed, that is why he was first considered for Bond, not because of any supposed likeness with the Connery)!

Very good web site, red-haired man! A good improvent, but I thought it was pretty cool already, better than my friend's Gillian Anderson web site that's for sure! You provide interesting sub topics, and cool trivia. By the way Hugo Drax, despite the sucki ess of Moonraker is the best Moore villain, his plan was the most orginal of all of them, and the most sickest and naziesque one for sure. My second, yes it is Scaramanga, then it is Stromberg. I didn't really care much for Kananga, he's just some fat guy on Homicide: Life on the street. By the way in five years hopefully there will be a new Moore aacomplishment linked to you site's features: The Ides of March offical web site!

Finally a site that tells it like it is!!! Bravo!!! Moore is, without doubt, the best Bond. Connery took the role too seriously in my opinion and, as a result, he was rather boring at times. Brosnan is good too but so understated that the two movies he ma e are easily forgettable. Moore had a presence, wit and charm that have never been matched.
