Over the course of three and a half decades, James Bond has been personified by five different actors, each of whom brought a new element to the 007 persona. Every one of these men embodied and interpreted James Bond in their own, unique way. They also represented a certain decade or era in action films and helped James Bond to develop his own movie genre in which to thrive for many years.
