During the opening sequence of the film, one of Blofeld's goons reaches into Bond's jacket to take his gun, but instead receives an unpleasant surprise as a small metal clamp (much like a miniature bear trap) smacks together on each side of his hand and gives 007 a chance to attack.
Good old "Q" gives James a set of fake fingerprints to ensure that no one discovers his true identity, especially diamond smuggler Tiffany Case, who is more clever than she seems.
Bond makes good use of his handy piton gun as he scales the side of the Whyte House, and finds the most unconventional method of using a public elevator.
Taking a page from Blofeld's book of tricks, 007 gives his nemesis a taste of his own medicine by utilizing a "Voice Box" that distorts the user's voice so that it sounds unmistakably like someone else's, namely, Willard Whyte.
