Live and Let Die Gadgets

In the beginning of the film, Bond rolls over in bed and checks his watch (which has a luminescent dial) in the darkness.  While this type of wristwatch is very common today, it was considered unique in 1973.

A different watch, supplied by Q-Branch does much more than tell time.  It is capable of spinning its dial quickly, like a saw, which is helpful in cutting through ropes.  It also can magnetically attract any metal object, large or small, and even interfere with the path of a bullet.

While driving through New York City, James speaks to his CIA buddy, Felix Leiter, through the cigarette lighter in the car.

While on assignment, James uses his trusty spy suitcase.  This time it's filled with everything from a signaling device (used to contact Quarrel Jr.) to a bug detector to a shaving kit.

This is not your ordinary bullet.  It is filled with compressed air, which will cause the person or object it hits to inflate and explode.  007 uses this gadget to get rid of Kananga, once and for all.
