CAN'T HARDLY WAIT - Tonight's the Party

Can't Hardly Wait is one of Love's new movies that has just been released in theaters. It is basically about 6 main characters (and many others without names, such as "Yearbook Girl" and "Crying Drunk Girl") attending their final party, the night after their high school graduation. Jennifer Love Hewitt plays Amanda Beckett, who has just broken up with her boyfriend, a tough arrogant football jock, Mike (Peter Facinelli). Preston (Ethan Embry) has been in love with Amanda for all of his 4 high school years. He sees an opportunity opening when he finds out that Amanda and her boyfriend have broken up. Q: Everyone's character in Can't Hardly Wait was a sterotype - which one do think you were most like in high school? Did you know people like the other stereotypes in the movie?

JLH: I don't think they had my character in the movie. I was a little of Denise and William mixed together, was probably what I was. I think I have met one of each of every character in the movie. Fortunately or unfortunately.

Q: Who were your best friends in high school? Are you still friends now?

JLH: Yes, I'm still friends with the people that I was friends with in high school. Yea, we still keep in touch. We live in two completely different places, but we still keep in touch.

Q: What was your favorite subject in high school?

JLH: My favorite subject in high school was English Literature. That was my favorite.

Q: What was your hardest subject in school?

JLH: Math was my hardest subject in high school. Math sucks. I hate it. It is no good.

Q: What were you most insecure about in high school?

JLH: Everything, still to this day. I'm still insecure about everything.

Q: Do you feel like you missed out on anything in high school because of your acting career?

JLH: Not at all. I feel like I gained a lot.

Q: If you could go back and relive one day in high school, what would it be? What about something you'd redo differently?

JLH: I wouldn't do anything differently. If I could relive one day in high school, I would relive homecoming. The homecoming dance, it was really cool.

Q: Are you planning on going to college?

JLH: Absolutely, I definitely want to go on to college. I want to study child psychology and creative writing, so I can write children's stories.

Q: Do you ever go online and use the internet, for school or otherwise?

JLH: No, I'm really bad with computers and I wouldn't even know how to get online. No, I'm bad.

Q: Do you think that the internet is an important tool to promote a movie today?

JLH: Definitely, yes, I think the internet is used more than television sets. Yes, I think its important.

Q: Do you have any special message for your internet audience?

JLH: Hi, hello, how are you all? Happy typing.

Q: How would you accessorize a graduation gown?

JLH: Combat boots.

Q: What was your favorite graduation gift?

JLH: My favorite graduation gift, What did I get for graduation? Oh yes, I got a pair of Tiffany's diamond earrings. My favorite, they were beautiful. So those were probably my favorite, because I always wanted those.

Q: What was the first thing you did after graduation?

JLH: I went to Disneyland! No. What I did after the graduation is - I took all my school books and put them in a box and I stored the box very very very far away, so I would not have to look at them again. 1
