Introducing!

The Trash T.V. Game

Copyrighted 1994

At last. The game you've all been waiting for.

In order to play the Trash T.V. Game, you need a little bit of imagination and a great sense of humor.

I know the rules, let me play the game.

Directions: I will give you a set of cards:

2 characters

2 occupations

1 genre

1 setting

2 quirks

2 physical imperfections

1 wacky friend or neighbor

1 undesirable plot twist

You are a would be producer in Hollywood. You are trying to pitch your new t.v. show to a room of executives. Using only the information given to you from the category cards, you need to create a show for the season.

For example: If you had been given:

characters: Kermit the Frog and Danny Bonaducci

occupations: Parole officer, restroom attendant

genre: Cooking show

setting: Trailer park

quirks: Clumsy, wanted for trafficking in stolen fruit

physical imperfections: has a prosthetic limb, has a goatee

wacky friend or neighbor: MacCauley Culkin

undesirable plot twist: one of the characters is a living saint who has frequent visitations

From this, you would then pitch the show.

Pitch: The show stars Kermit the Frog as a humble restroom attendant, but while he's sitting there, collecting quarters, passing out paper towels, suddenly, he begins having visitations. He hears voices and sees visions which tell him to quit his job and begin taping a cable access cooking show out of his mobile home in his trailer park. Danny Bonaducci is Kermit's best friend, and cooking show sidekick. He has a goatee and a prostetic arm and he's also clumsy which makes for much cooking show wackiness. Danny is keeping an eye on the kid the next door, played by MacCauley Culkin. He's one of Danny's parolees, who used to traffic in stolen fruit. Danny and Kermit try to keep the kid on the straight and narrow.
