Before you spend your hard earned money on this movie, let me just say,
"Don't see the Avengers!". The film's plot was more unstable than the fault line
in California. Scenes in the movie didn't make sense, and others just didn't need
to even be there. The only way you would get anything out of this film, is by
watching the 60's TV series. When you watch movies that come from great TV show's,
the movie usually tries to get more people to watch it by including stuff that
a die hard audience would love, and that a new audience would love. In the Avengers
case, if you never watched the TV show, then the movie won't make any sense at all.
Ralph Fiennes and Uma Thurman's characters became very annoying during the entire
film. Sean Connery is always great, but his character in this film was downright
awful. It figures, all this talent in one film, and it all goes to waste. The only
good parts to this movie were the special effects, and some elaborate action
sequences. If you ever rent this movie when it comes to video, do the world
a favor by throwing it into the nearest open fire.
