SAVING PRIVATE RYAN
9.5 Out Of 10 Stars
This film is simply a masterpiece. The terror and realism of the
World War II is brought to life in this newest Steven Spielberg film. The first
25 minutes of the film was mainly the D-Day invasion, in which we see the horror
of what really happened that day. The blood and gore are there for a reason,
the reason is it really happened. The camera positioning and movements could not
be more perfect. Spielberg shakes the camera in a way that the audience gets
a little dizzy during some parts throughout the film. He even makes the camera
fall over or get caught underwater, as to make it as realistic as possible.
The acting was top notch by every performer in the movie. Tom Hanks deserves
yet another Oscar for his excellent performance. John Williams (Jurassic Park,
Schindlers List, Jaws) musical score for this film was a quiet, yet effective
musical masterpiece needed for a movie of this magnitude. This is simply by far
the best film I've ever seen, and everyone should take the time to see it.
