TWIN DRAGONS
5 Out Of 10 Stars
After the surprise success of Jackie Chan's latest film "Rush Hour",
Dimension films decided to release one of his older films in high hopes to get
some big bucks out of it. The film they found was "Twin Dragons", a movie made
in 1992 about identical twins played by Jackie Chan. The fight scenes in the
film are excellent. I'm surprised Chan isn't dead after some of the stunts he
pulled. The film is spoken in Chinese, but dubbed over in English, which usually
happens in a Chan flick. The acting is pretty bad, I felt like I was watching
an old Godzilla movie all over again. Scenes showing two Jackie Chan's in the
same shot were done very poorly. It gets so bad, that sometimes one Jackie Chan
puts his hand through another Jackie Chan. I guess the special effects department
of this film forgot to bring their glasses to work. The movies funny parts are
done well, but some scenes you can tell they pushed for laughs a little
too hard. This is an overall decent Jackie Chan film. So if you're a fan,
you'll love it, if not, check out another film.
