When you're in a bad way, a few whiffs of gas can still work wonders.

The Gasman has been experimenting with his new gas equipment. A willing array of patients soon came around to the examination room.

These are all taken from an episode of "Mission Impossible". A captive King must be rescued as his devious son is now in power. The son is drugged and is made to look as though he has a kidney problem. A transplant is advised - and the donor is to be the King. A fake operation is performed on each - but during this, both bodies are lowered below and swapped over. Gas is therefore sprayed on both subjects as well as two dummies in their absense. A Dummy's head can be seen in pictures 2 and 3. As usual, the mask is being used upside down in some shots.

These are all taken from the Dark Skies episode "The Warren Omission". [1] Juliet breaks into the safe house and knocks Kim to the ground. [2] She gets out a mask. [3] The mask is lowered to Kim's face. [4] Kim sleeps peacefully. [5] John comes down and Juliet hits him to the ground as well. The mask comes out again. [6] The mask is now lowered to John's face. [7] He struggles as the gas starts to emerge. [8] Juliet says "Shoosh ... Shoosh ... Shoosh" - soothing him to sleep. [9] A few more breaths and he's Juliet's. Boy would I love to be gassed by Juliet (Jerry Ryan)!!

These six images show the female lead in the film "Dr Giggles". [1] The mask is prepared. [2] The patient watches it draw near. [3] The full sized mask is placed over her nose and mouth. [4] Straps are used to secure the mask. [5] The straps are now done up and the gas starts to flow. [6] The patient drips into a nice sleep.

These images are taken from a recent BBC documentary about trainee doctors. It was an episode about a day surgery ward - where people were lined up for basic surgey. Quite a few gassings were apparent in just a few minutes! Sadly, my TV signal at the time was very poor. However, I will look out for a repeat showing and will aim to capture some much higher quality images.

Something different this time. Pictures [1]-[3] are of the Gasman's private examination suite. This contains brown and black vinyl examination beds plus two sets of gas equipment. Pictures [4]-[8] show some of the women regularly sedated there. Bookings are being taken for later in the year....

Very much a mixed collection here. Pictures [1]-[3] are from unknown sources. The first two show self service gas - with [2] being a particularly splendid mask. [4]-[6] are from the film "The Last American Virgin". [7] and [8] are taken from dental Web sites. [7] looks like a particularly good place to go - with gas, music and glasses all provided to ease your experience.

These images have been extracted from a rather poor video of the horror film "The Unborn". [1] The staff put the woman at her ease. [2] They ask if she's ready to receive the gas. [3] The mask is applied. [4] The staff ask her to count back from 100. [5] The counting starts and she feels sleepy. [6] She's completely asleep.

These images show Alyssa Milano being gassed in an episode of "The Outer Limits". We included a different clip from this scene some weeks ago. It can be found further into the site.

[1] - [5] These are from the film "Blind Date." This woman has already been knocked out with chloroform. She is now about to be gassed. [1] The tank of gas is checked. [2] The mask is placed over her nose and mouth. [3]-[5] The gas gets to work and soon she is sedated. [6] and [7] are from an old film. The mask is placed on the lady. [7] She soon sleeps peacfully.

All of these images are from the film "Carry on Doctor". Patients have taken over the hospital and have tied the head surgeon to the operating table - to pursuade him to make a confession. [1] One of the patients readies the gas. [2] He tests the gas to make sure something is coming out. [3] The gas equipment is wheeled over to the "patient". [4] The "patient" protests. [5] The gas is about to be delivered. [6] The gas starts to flow.

Images [1] - [4] are again from "The Dentist". In this scene he gets revenge on this women by dragging her into the chair and forcibly gassing her. After she is sedated, he ties her to the chair and then performs some special treatment on her. The second image in the "A Mixed Bunch Indeed" section below could show this treatment! [5] and [6] are standard dental Web site images.

All six images here are from the adult film "Afternoon Delights" - a series of shorter films. In this one, a woman visits the dentist and everything checks out OK. However, without the knowledge of the dentist, the assistant gasses the patient (after having told her there IS some work to be done). The assistant then has her way with the patient [6]. The dentist joins in later - once he realises what's going on. Notice the continuity problems in [2] and [5] - the mask is upside down.
