Kitty Lai is the daughter of a rich family. She has an older brother and since birth is promised to the son of another wealthy family. Felix, when going into the city, somehow get mixed up with "mountain robbers". They kidnapps him up to their hideout in the mountain, thus, Felix is separated from his girlfriend. Before long, Felix becomes part of the "mountain robbers" family. Although they steal from people, the members treat each other as siblings. Felix, having no family of his own, feels secure with them. He first "robbery" involves Kitty's brother. In the confusion, Kitty is kidnapped. Kitty is taken up to the mountain. Here, she is told that her father is a terrible man who had killed many people. Kitty refuses to believe them and begs them to release her. Eventually, Felix releases her. Kitty returns to her family, but not for long.
Meanwhile, Felix's girlfriend uses her beauty to attract rich men, single or married. She is without moral and remorse. Her only goal is to have wealth and presitge. As Kitty returns to the mountain, she gradually falls for Felix. Felix, however, does not return her love. His one and only love is the woman he grew up with. He sees Kitty as just another "rich, spoiled brat". Another "mountain" gangs forces Felix's group from their territory. Outnumbered, they leave, but promises themselves that they will return to claim back their place and territory. When Felix returns to the city again, he and Kitty is married and they have a young son, about five or six years old. Again, it is hard to determine if Felix ever loved Kitty at all. Despite her sacrifices, Felix rarely speak to Kitty kindly. The last straw was when Felix reunites with his "old" love and slept with her. Kitty witness this with her own eyes, she takes her son and head back to the mountain.
Will Kitty listen to Felix explanations? Will she forgive him for cheating on her? Will Felix leave Kitty and return to his first love? How will the law officers deal with the outlaws?

In a small, pleasant village, there lived a rich and powerful
man, Tsoir (Har Yu). He bribed the chief of the village to cheat money from the villagers. Needless to say, both of them got rather wealthy from this scheme. The people never suspected that anything was wrong. Kitty Lai lives with her mother and elder brother. The family ownes a small shop selling "tofu" and related products. One day, while attending a party for Mr. Tsoir's birthday. Kitty, along with Tsoir's second wife are kidnapped by the "mountain" robbers. When both ladies are home safety, rumours got around the village that Kitty is "ruined" by the robbers. One day, the villagers are surprised to discover that there are newcomers to their village. The oldest man has moved away to America long ago. But now he brings his son, Keith Kwan, and his adopted, Leon Lai, with him.
The fun begin when the villager's eyes are opened as Leon and Keith brought with them new "things". Such as bicycle. They have never seen one before. While showing off their talent on their bicycles, Leon sees Kitty among the group of people. Attracted to her natural beauty, he follows her. No paying attention to where he is going, Leon clashes into Kitty.He says he's "sorry". But Kitty doesn't understand English. She thought that Leon wanted to "lock her up". So of course she's mad at him. Imagine, falling on her and then wanted to lock her up!
Anyway, as time goes by, Kitty found out that Leon isn't such a bad person. He's loyal to his brother and friend, and caring. Leon also discover another side of Kitty. A gentle and caring side of her. Before long, the two are in love. But Keith also has his sight on Kitty. Not wanting to hurt his brother, Leon and Kitty attempts to hide their feelings from Keith and each other.
Will Leon and Kitty find happiness in the end? Will the villagers ever find out what their chief did to them? Will the mountain robbers cause other problems for the villagers?

This particular lawyer is educated in England. He wishes to practice in Beijing. Although he comes fro a rich family, he treat people with respect regardless of their position in society and profession. Hence, he agrees to help Kitty free of charge. Meanwhile, the bearded man arrives in Beijing. His mission? To find his long lost younger brother and sister. The only clue he has to go on are the teeth marks left by his mother. Does this mean that Kitty is the sister of this man? As Kitty and the lawyer spend more time together, the two slowly falls in love with eath other. However, the lawyer's father objects the relationship of the two. Can the sweethearts overcome this obstacle and find happiness? During this troubled time, Frankie remains faithfully by her side. Since the cop and the mob wanted both of them dead, both decides to escape to Hong Kong. In the process, Frankie is sentenced to jail for three years. Kitty promises to wait for him in Hong Kong. Three years later, Hong Kong: Kitty has settled into her new life. She is now a nurse. Upon receiving the new of Frankie's death, Kitty is devastated. The lead actor, Alex Fong, arrives onto the scene. He portrays a police captain
from England. His assignment in Hong Kong is to deal with the problem of police corruption. The captain is smitten with Kitty's beauty immediately. At first, Kitty feels unworthy of his love. But as time goes by, she returns Alex's affections.Meanwhile, the officer who has raped Kitty in Macao is also in Hong Kong, and of all horror, he's a captain too, just like Alex. Hence, Alex is the virtuous cop, loyal and honour to his profession. The other captain is concerned only with money and how to use his power to make more money. He also learns that Kitty is alive and that she is to be engaged to Alex. Obviously, he would cause considerable trouble for the sweethearts.
At the same time, Alex is leading an investigation into the murder of a prominent drug lord. According to him, the individual who'd killed this particular man is highly skilled, probably a professional assassin. Who can this person be? When the bad captain reveals Kitty's past in court, Alex is shattered. He cancels the engagement party. Although the realationship between Alex and Kitty are strained after this revelations, Alex realizes that he still love Kitty very much.
