The Sikes Family Movie Review
Well, it was a very special day at the Sikes household on Father's Day, as we all went to take a very special dad to see "Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me." We want to give you a review without giving away essential plot secrets. Anybody who saw "The Crying Game" knows what I mean - we don't want to spoil anyone's fun!
What we can say is that you can come prepared to laugh. Many of the jokes are enhanced if you saw the first Austin Powers movie. Austin is back in the sixties - This one should definitely win the oscar for costumes - love the outfits, love Austin's swinging pad in London.
Best villain is still Dr. Evil - he continues to steal the show no matter what. We get to see much more of him - his sensitive side, his sexy side, and his musical talent (LOL!)
Austin and his lady end up in those "quasi-futuristic clothes" again right before...well....we don't want to spoil it.
Our last advice - make sure you sit still through the entire showing of the credits to make sure you don't miss a thing. Also, we'd recommend a trip to the CD store to get the soundtrack ASAP!!
